Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in Kroya, right? You know, that little gem in Indonesia. I mean, it’s not Bali, but it’s got its own vibe. Anyway, I had a meeting at this café on Jl. Raya Kroya. The coffee there? Ugh, life-changing. But I was late. Classic me, right? So, I’m sprinting down Jl. Diponegoro, dodging scooters like I’m in some crazy video game. I swear, these drivers have no chill. One almost took me out! I was like, “Dude, I’m just tryna get my caffeine fix!” Finally, I get to the café, and guess what? They messed up my order. I ordered a cappuccino, and they gave me a black coffee. Like, what even? I’m not a monster! I need my froth! So, I’m standing there, fuming, and the barista’s just smiling like it’s all good. I’m like, “Bro, this is NOT what I wanted!” After that, I had to rush to this meeting with some local business peeps. We were at this place on Jl. Pahlawan. Super fancy, right? But the vibe was off. Everyone was just staring at their phones. I mean, c’mon! We’re here to talk, not scroll! So, I tried to break the ice. I made a joke about the weather. It was hot, like, “Is it just me or is it like a sauna in here?” Crickets. Ugh, awkward! Then, outta nowhere, this guy starts talking about the new mall they’re building. I’m like, “Great, more traffic on Jl. Merdeka. Just what we need!” But he was all hyped about it. I mean, I get it, new shops and stuff, but do we really need another place to buy overpriced clothes? After the meeting, I needed a breather. So, I hit up the park near Jl. Siliwangi. It’s got this cute little pond. I sat there, just chillin’, watching the ducks. They were quacking like they owned the place. I was like, “You guys are living the dream!” But then, this kid runs by, chasing a ball, and BAM! He knocks over my drink. I was like, “Noooo!” My iced tea was everywhere. I was so mad, but then I saw his face. He looked so sorry. I couldn’t stay mad. Kids, man. They’re like little tornadoes of chaos. So, I decided to walk it off. I strolled down Jl. Jendral Sudirman, just taking in the sights. The street vendors were out, selling all kinds of snacks. I grabbed some pisang goreng. OMG, so good! Sweet, crispy, and just what I needed. Then, I bumped into an old friend. We hadn’t seen each other in ages! We ended up chatting for like an hour. He told me about his new job and how he’s moving to Jakarta. I was like, “Dude, you’re gonna miss Kroya!” It’s got its quirks, but it’s home. As the sun started to set, I felt this wave of happiness. I mean, yeah, the day was a rollercoaster, but that’s life, right? Full of surprises. I walked back home, feeling grateful. Kroya might not be perfect, but it’s mine. So, yeah, that was my day. Crazy, emotional, and totally worth it. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
