Man, what a day! Seriously, Labuhan-Deli, you wild! I woke up this mornin’ thinkin’ it’d be chill, ya know? Just another day in this crazy city. But nah, the universe had other plans. First off, I hit the streets of Jl. Sisingamangaraja. It’s like the heart of Labuhan-Deli, right? So many people, so much noise. I’m just tryna grab some breakfast at this warung I love. The nasi goreng there? To die for! But guess what? They ran out! Like, how do you run out of nasi goreng in the morning? I was fuming! So, I settled for some roti canai instead. Not bad, but it ain’t the same, ya know? I’m munchin’ on that, and suddenly, this street vendor starts yellin’ about his pisang goreng. I mean, who can resist fried bananas? Not me! I bought a bunch, and they were so crispy, I almost forgot about the nasi goreng disaster. Almost. Then, I decided to stroll down to Jl. Diponegoro. Man, the vibe there is always lit! Street musicians, kids playin’, and the smell of satay wafting through the air. I was vibin’ until I saw this dude tryin’ to sell fake watches. Like, bro, who you foolin’? I laughed so hard, I almost choked on my pisang goreng. But then, outta nowhere, it started rainin’. I mean, like, torrential downpour! I’m sprinting for cover, dodging puddles like I’m in some kinda obstacle course. I ducked into this little café on Jl. Yos Sudarso. It’s cozy, but the coffee? Ugh, it was burnt! I was like, “C’mon, Labuhan-Deli, give me a break!” While I was waitin’ for the rain to chill, I overheard this couple arguing. They were goin’ at it, man! I couldn’t help but eavesdrop. Turns out, the guy forgot their anniversary. Classic! I was just sittin’ there, sippin’ my burnt coffee, thinkin’ “Dude, you had one job!” Finally, the rain stopped, and I thought, “Alright, let’s make the most of this.” I headed to the beach at Pantai Cermin. The waves were crashin’, and the sunset? OMG, it was like a painting! I felt all the stress melt away. I even took a selfie, but my hair was a mess from the rain. Typical! But then, I saw this kid flyin’ a kite. It was so colorful, and he was grinnin’ ear to ear. I felt a wave of happiness wash over me. Like, this is what life’s about, right? Simple joys. I wanted to join him, but I’m not tryna embarrass myself. I can barely keep a kite in the air! As I was leavin’ the beach, I bumped into an old friend. We hadn’t seen each other in ages! We started catchin’ up, laughin’ about old times. It was like no time had passed. We decided to grab dinner at this seafood place on Jl. Raya. The grilled fish was bomb! I was in heaven, and we were just reminiscing about our wild teenage years. But then, outta nowhere, my phone buzzed. It was my boss. He was like, “Where are you? You’re late!” I was like, “Dude, I’m in Labuhan-Deli livin’ my best life!” But I had to rush back. So, I hopped on a bemo, and let me tell ya, that ride was a whole adventure. The driver was blasting dangdut music, and everyone was singin’ along. I was laughin’ so hard, I almost forgot I was late. Finally, I made it back, but I was exhausted. I flopped onto my bed, thinkin’ about the day. It was a rollercoaster, for real. Labuhan-Deli, you crazy, but I love ya! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
