Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from all the craziness that went down in Langsa. I mean, where do I even start? So, I woke up, right? The sun was blazing, and I could hear the roosters doing their thing. Classic Langsa morning. I grabbed my coffee from that little warung on Jl. Teuku Umar. You know the one? Best kopi in town! But, of course, I spilled half of it on my shirt. Great start, huh? Then I had a session with this client. Let’s call him “Rudi.” Rudi’s been dealing with some heavy stuff. We were deep into it when suddenly, BOOM! A loud crash outside. I thought it was a car accident or something. Nope! Just some kids playing football on the street. I mean, come on! Can’t a psychologist have a quiet moment? After that, I decided to take a stroll down Jl. Diponegoro. It’s such a vibe there. Street vendors everywhere, selling all kinds of snacks. I got sidetracked by this guy selling kerupuk. I swear, I could eat my weight in those crispy things. But then, I saw a cat. A fat, fluffy cat just lounging in the sun. I’m talking about a serious chunk of fur. I had to stop and pet it. You know, for my mental health. But then, outta nowhere, this old lady comes up to me. She’s like, “Hey, you! You look like you need some good advice!” I’m thinking, “Lady, I’m the one giving advice here!” But she just starts rambling about how the best nasi goreng is at that little stall on Jl. Laksamana. I mean, she was right, but still! So, I finally made my way to that stall. The smell hit me like a truck. I ordered a plate, and let me tell you, it was life-changing. I was in heaven. But then, I noticed a group of teenagers laughing and taking selfies. They were so loud! I mean, I get it, you’re young and carefree, but chill a bit, right? After lunch, I had another session. This time with “Siti.” She’s a sweet girl, but man, she was all over the place. One minute she’s crying, the next she’s laughing. I was like, “Girl, you need to chill!” But honestly, I love her energy. It reminds me of Langsa itself—so vibrant and unpredictable. Then, I decided to hit up the beach. Pantai Langsa is my go-to spot. The waves were crashing, and I just sat there, soaking it all in. But then, I saw this guy trying to impress a girl by doing backflips. Spoiler alert: he ate sand. I couldn’t help but laugh. Like, dude, maybe stick to walking? As the sun started to set, I felt this wave of gratitude. Langsa is wild, but it’s home. The chaos, the people, the food—it all makes me feel alive. But then, I got stuck in traffic on Jl. Sultan Iskandar Muda. I mean, come on! It’s like everyone decided to drive at the same time. I was losing my mind! Finally, I made it home, exhausted but happy. I plopped down on my couch, thinking about all the ups and downs of the day. Langsa, you crazy city, you’ve got my heart. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
