Man, today was a wild ride in Majalengka! Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, but boy, was I wrong. First off, I hit the streets of Jl. Raya Majalengka, and it was like a scene from a movie. The sun was blazing, and I was already sweating buckets. I mean, who needs a sauna when you got this heat, right? So, I’m cruising down the street, and I spot this food stall. You know, the one with the best nasi goreng? I had to stop. I mean, who can resist that? I ordered a plate, and while I was waiting, I noticed this old dude trying to sell some weird-looking fruits. Like, what even are those? I thought he was trying to sell me a dragon egg or something. 😂 Anyway, I finally get my food, and it’s like heaven in a plate. I’m munching away, and suddenly, this kid runs by, tripping over his own feet. He knocks my plate right outta my hands! I was like, “Dude, seriously?!” I was ready to blow up, but then I saw his face. He looked so scared, I just couldn’t. I mean, who hasn’t had a clumsy moment, right? So, I laughed it off. But man, I was still hungry! After that, I decided to head to the Majalengka Square. It’s always buzzing with life. Street performers, vendors, and all that jazz. I love it! But today, it was packed. Like, I could barely move. I felt like a sardine in a can. I tried to squeeze through, but nope, not happening. I ended up stuck behind this lady selling keripik. I swear, she was taking her sweet time. I was like, “C’mon, lady, I got places to be!” Finally, I break free and head to the park. It’s my go-to spot for some peace. But guess what? There’s a bunch of kids playing soccer, and they’re all over the place. I’m just trying to chill, and suddenly, a ball comes flying at me. I ducked just in time! I mean, really? I can’t catch a break today! But then, something amazing happened. I met this local musician, right? He was playing the angklung, and it was beautiful. I just stood there, listening, and it totally changed my mood. I felt all the stress melt away. I even joined in, clapping along. It was like a mini concert, and I was front row! After that, I decided to hit up Jl. Cikande for some coffee. I needed a pick-me-up. I found this cute little café, and the barista was super chill. We started chatting about music, and he told me about this underground scene in Majalengka. I was like, “What? I gotta check that out!” But then, as I was leaving, I realized I left my wallet on the table. Panic mode activated! I rushed back, and thankfully, it was still there. I swear, my heart was racing. I’m not ready to be broke in Majalengka! As the day wrapped up, I headed back home, reflecting on all the craziness. Majalengka is a rollercoaster, man. One minute you’re mad, the next you’re vibing with music. It’s chaotic but in the best way possible. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
