Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Malinau, right? The sun’s blazin’ through my window on Jl. Raya Malinau. I’m like, “Great, another day in paradise.” But nah, it was anything but that. First off, I’m tryin’ to get my webcam biz rollin’. You know, the usual—set up the cameras, check the lighting, all that jazz. But guess what? My main camera decides to throw a tantrum. Like, c’mon! I’m in Malinau, not a tech support center! I’m sweating bullets, man. I’m like, “Why today? Why now?” So, I’m runnin’ around like a headless chicken, and I decide to hit up the local market on Jl. Pahlawan. I need a new camera, ASAP. The market’s packed, and I’m dodging people left and right. It’s like a scene from a movie. I bump into this old lady, and she gives me the dirtiest look. I’m like, “Sorry, grandma, I’m not tryin’ to start a fight here!” Finally, I find a shop. The guy’s like, “Yeah, we got cameras.” But then he hits me with the price. I’m like, “Dude, I could buy a small island for that!” But I’m desperate, so I fork over the cash. Ugh, my wallet’s crying. Now, I’m back at my place, and I’m tryin’ to set this new camera up. I’m all excited, right? But then, outta nowhere, the power goes out. Like, seriously? I’m in Malinau, and the power’s out? I’m sittin’ there in the dark, thinkin’ about life choices. I mean, what’s next? A meteor shower? So, I grab my phone, and I’m scrolling through social media. I see this post about a festival happening at Taman Kota. I’m like, “Heck yeah! I need a break!” So, I throw on some clothes and head out. The vibe at the festival is lit! Food stalls everywhere, people laughin’, music pumpin’. I grab some nasi goreng, and it’s bomb! I’m munchin’ away, and I see this dance-off happening. I’m like, “I gotta join!” So, I jump in, and let me tell ya, I’ve got moves! Or at least I thought I did. I tripped over my own feet and landed right in front of this cute girl. Smooth, right? She laughs, and I’m like, “Well, at least I made an entrance!” We start chatting, and turns out she’s from Jl. Merdeka. We hit it off, and I’m feelin’ all kinds of happy. Who knew Malinau could be so romantic? But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I mean, like, monsoon-level rain. Everyone’s runnin’ for cover, and I’m just standin’ there, soaked to the bone, laughin’ like a maniac. I’m like, “This is the best worst day ever!” So, I finally make it back home, drenched but happy. I set up the new camera, and it actually works! I’m like, “Yes! Finally!” I sit down, ready to stream, and I can’t help but think about how wild today was. From tech meltdowns to dance-offs in the rain, Malinau really knows how to keep things interesting. I crash on my couch, exhausted but grateful. Tomorrow’s a new day, and who knows what’ll happen next? But for now, I’m just gonna chill and enjoy the chaos that is my life in Malinau.
