Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Mranggen, right? The sun’s blazin’, and I’m like, “Great, another day of estimating stuff.” But little did I know, this day was gonna be a rollercoaster. First off, I hit the road on Jl. Raya Mranggen. Traffic? Ugh, don’t even get me started. It’s like everyone decided to take their sweet time today. I’m sittin’ there, just fuming. Like, c’mon people, we got places to be! I swear, I saw a dude on a motorbike just chillin’, scrolling his phone. I’m like, “Bro, you’re in a rush or what?” Finally, I get to the site on Jl. Diponegoro. It’s a construction gig, and I’m supposed to estimate costs. But guess what? The foreman, Pak Budi, is nowhere to be found. I’m pacing around, checking my watch, and I’m like, “Dude, I got things to do!” After what felt like an eternity, he rolls in, all casual. I’m like, “You know we had a meeting, right?” He just shrugs. Classic Pak Budi. So, we start going over the plans, and I’m trying to keep my cool. But then, he pulls out this old blueprint. I’m talkin’ ancient, like it’s from the Stone Age. I’m like, “Are we building a house or a museum?” Then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I mean, like, monsoon-level rain. I’m soaked in seconds. I’m standing there, drenched, and I can’t help but laugh. Like, really? This is how my day’s gonna go? I’m estimating costs while lookin’ like a drowned rat. So, I dash to the nearest warung on Jl. Pahlawan. I need a break, ya know? I grab some nasi goreng, and it’s bomb! Like, the best I’ve had in ages. I’m munching away, and suddenly, I hear this loud crash outside. I rush out, and there’s a car accident right in front of me. Just my luck, right? Two dudes are arguing like it’s the end of the world. I’m standing there, eating my fried rice, thinking, “This is better than TV.” One guy’s yelling, “You didn’t signal!” and the other’s like, “Well, you were in my blind spot!” I’m just trying not to choke on my food from laughing. After that chaos, I head back to the site. I’m finally getting into the groove of things when my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy, asking if I wanna hit up the local karaoke later. I’m like, “Heck yes!” I need to blow off some steam after this wild day. But then, I get a call from my boss. He’s like, “We need those estimates ASAP.” I’m like, “Dude, I’m in the middle of a storm here!” But whatever, I pull it together. I finish up, send the estimates, and feel like a champ. Finally, I wrap up and head to the karaoke spot on Jl. Jendral Sudirman. I’m ready to unleash my inner rockstar. I walk in, and it’s packed. Everyone’s singing their hearts out. I grab a mic, and boom! I’m belting out some classic hits. The crowd’s loving it, and I’m feeling like a superstar. By the end of the night, I’m exhausted but happy. Mranggen threw everything at me today, but I survived. I mean, who knew estimating could be this wild? I head home, still buzzing from the day’s craziness, thinking, “Man, tomorrow better be chill.” But knowing Mranggen, it probably won’t be.
