OMG, what a day in Munduk! Like, seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up Jl. Raya Munduk for some coffee. You know, the good stuff. I’m talking about that local brew that hits different. I order my usual, and the barista, this super chill dude, spills half of it. I’m like, “Bro, really?” But then he laughs it off, and I can’t help but crack a smile. It’s hard to stay mad in this place, ya know? Then I decide to stroll down to the Munduk Waterfall. I mean, who doesn’t love a good waterfall? But as I’m walking, I trip over a rock. Classic me, right? I’m like, “Great, now I’m gonna be that person.” But whatever, I get up, dust myself off, and keep going. The view is worth it. The sound of the water is like music. I snap a pic for the ‘gram, ofc. #MundukMagic. But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. Like, monsoon-level rain. I’m soaked in seconds. I’m standing there, looking like a drowned rat, and I’m just laughing. I mean, what else can you do? I duck into this little warung on Jl. Raya, and the owner, this sweet old lady, hands me a towel. Bless her heart! I order some nasi goreng, and it’s bomb. Like, I could eat that every day. After the rain chills out, I head to the Munduk Village. The vibe is so chill. People are friendly, and the rice fields are stunning. I’m snapping pics like a tourist. I see some kids playing soccer, and I’m like, “Hey, can I join?” They look at me like I’m crazy, but they let me play. I’m running around, trying not to embarrass myself. Spoiler: I totally did. But it was fun! Then, I meet this local artist, Wayan. He’s painting these gorgeous landscapes. I’m like, “Dude, you’re talented!” He tells me about the history of Munduk, how it used to be a coffee plantation area. I’m fascinated. I mean, who knew? I’m learning so much, and it’s just a random day. But then, I get a call from my boss. Ugh. Apparently, there’s some drama in the community group. I’m like, “Can’t a girl catch a break?” I try to handle it, but it’s a mess. People arguing over the dumbest stuff. I’m like, “Guys, we’re in paradise! Chill!” But no, they’re all fired up. I’m trying to keep my cool, but inside, I’m like, “Why are humans so complicated?” Finally, I wrap up the day at the Munduk Eco Park. I just need to breathe. I sit on a bench, looking at the sunset. It’s breathtaking. The sky is all pink and orange, and I’m just there, soaking it all in. I think about how lucky I am to be here, even with all the chaos. As I head home, I can’t help but smile. Munduk is wild, unpredictable, and full of surprises. Just like me. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. But for now, I’m just gonna crash. Peace out, Munduk! You’ve been a trip!
