Man, what a day! Seriously, Nganjuk really threw me for a loop today. I woke up thinking it was just gonna be another chill day, you know? But nah, the universe had other plans. So, I roll outta bed, grab my coffee from that little warung on Jl. Raya Nganjuk. Best coffee ever, by the way. I mean, it’s like liquid happiness in a cup. But then, boom! My phone buzzes. Emergency call. Ugh, just what I needed. I rush over to the Nganjuk market. You know, the one near Alun-Alun? It’s always buzzing with life. But today? It was chaos. People everywhere, shouting, haggling. I swear, I thought I was in a reality show. “Survivor: Nganjuk Edition.” I get there, and my buddy, Rudi, is freaking out. “Dude, the power’s out!” he yells. I’m like, “What?!” Turns out, some construction crew on Jl. Diponegoro hit a power line. Classic Nganjuk, right? Just when you think you can chill, bam! So, I’m trying to help Rudi calm down. We decide to grab some snacks from the street vendors. You know, the ones with the best gorengan? I’m munching on some pisang goreng, and it’s like heaven. But then, I see this old lady struggling with her groceries. I rush over to help her, feeling all heroic and stuff. But then, outta nowhere, this stray dog comes charging at me! I’m like, “Whoa, chill, buddy!” I drop the pisang goreng, and it’s like slow-mo. I watch it fall, and I’m like, “Nooooo!” But the dog? He’s not interested in my snack. He just wants to play. After that little adventure, I finally get to the office. But guess what? The power’s still out! I’m sitting there, staring at my computer like it’s gonna magically turn on. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t. So, I just start doodling on my notepad. Then, my boss walks in. He’s all, “Why aren’t you working?” I’m like, “Uh, no power?” He just rolls his eyes. Classic. I mean, come on! It’s Nganjuk! We’re used to this stuff. Finally, the power comes back on. I’m like, “Hallelujah!” But then, my computer decides to update. Seriously? I’m sitting there, watching that little loading circle spin forever. I could’ve made a sandwich in that time. After work, I hit up Jl. Siti Aisyah for some dinner. I’m starving! I grab some nasi pecel, and it’s like a flavor explosion. I’m in food heaven. But then, I see this guy trying to sell me some weird fruit. I’m like, “Nah, I’m good.” But he’s persistent. “C’mon, bro, it’s the best!” I finally head home, exhausted. But as I’m walking, I see the sunset over the rice fields. It’s beautiful. I stop for a sec, just to take it in. Nganjuk can be wild, but moments like this? They make it all worth it. So yeah, that was my day. Full of surprises, chaos, and a bit of magic. Nganjuk, you crazy, but I love ya!
