Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from all the craziness in Panarukan. Like, where do I even start? So, I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it decided to take a day off. Thanks, clock! I rushed outta bed, threw on whatever I could find, and bolted out the door. First stop? The street vendors on Jl. Raya Panarukan. You know, the ones with the best nasi goreng? I was dreaming of that spicy goodness. But guess what? They were out! Out! Can you believe that? I was ready to throw a fit. I mean, c’mon, it’s like the universe was against me. I ended up grabbing some random street food instead. It was... okay, I guess. But not the same. I was hangry, and you don’t wanna mess with me when I’m hangry. Then, I had to meet a client at the Panarukan market. The traffic was insane! Jl. Diponegoro was a total parking lot. I swear, I saw a guy on a motorbike just chillin’ in the middle of the road, like he was waiting for a bus or something. I was like, “Dude, this ain’t Jakarta!” Finally, I made it to the market. It’s always buzzing with life. People shouting, kids running around, and the smell of fresh produce everywhere. I love it! But then, I spotted a cat. A fluffy little thing, just lounging on a pile of veggies. I mean, who does that? I laughed so hard. Like, “Hey, Mr. Cat, you’re not a veggie!” Met my client, and honestly, it was a rollercoaster. One minute we’re discussing plans, the next he’s telling me about his pet iguana. I mean, what? An iguana? I couldn’t even focus. I was just picturing this green lizard chilling on his couch. After that, I decided to take a stroll down Jl. Siti Aisyah. It’s one of my fave spots. The street art there is dope! I snapped a few pics for the ‘gram. Gotta keep the followers happy, right? But then, outta nowhere, it started pouring! Like, monsoon-level rain. I was soaked in seconds. I ducked into a little café, hoping for a hot drink. And guess what? They were outta coffee! Seriously, what’s with today? I ordered tea instead, but it was lukewarm. I was like, “Is this a joke?” While I was sulking, I overheard a couple at the next table. They were arguing about... wait for it... the best way to cook tempeh. I couldn’t help but chuckle. Like, really? That’s what you’re fighting about? I wanted to jump in and say, “Just fry it, man!” Finally, the rain stopped, and I decided to head back. But on my way, I bumped into an old friend from high school. We hadn’t seen each other in ages! We ended up chatting for like an hour on Jl. Merdeka. It was so good to catch up. We laughed about old times, and I felt all warm and fuzzy inside. But then, just as I was about to leave, I stepped in a puddle. A huge one. My shoes were soaked again! I was like, “Really, universe? Really?” By the time I got home, I was exhausted. But you know what? Despite all the chaos, I wouldn’t trade a single moment. Panarukan is wild, unpredictable, and full of surprises. Just like me, I guess. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
