Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from all the craziness in Pekan-Bahapal. Like, where do I even start? So, I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it decided to take a day off. Thanks, clock! I rushed outta my place on Jalan Raya, barely had time for coffee. Ugh, the struggle is real. I mean, who can function without caffeine, right? First stop, the market at Pasar Bahapal. It’s always buzzing, like a beehive on steroids. I’m dodging people left and right, trying not to trip over some random chicken. Seriously, why are there chickens everywhere? I swear they’re plotting something. Anyway, I’m there, trying to haggle for some fresh veggies. The vendor, this old dude, he’s got a grin like he just won the lottery. I’m like, “Bro, I’m not paying that much!” But he just laughs. I ended up buying half the market. Oops. Then, I decided to stroll down Jalan Merdeka. Beautiful street, man. Trees everywhere, and the vibe is chill. But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. Like, monsoon-level rain. I’m soaked in seconds. I’m standing there, looking like a drowned rat, and I can’t help but laugh. Classic Pekan-Bahapal weather, right? So, I duck into this little café, Café Bahagia. Best place ever! I order a kopi Bahapal, and it’s like a hug in a mug. I’m sitting there, sipping my coffee, and this random guy starts chatting me up. Turns out he’s a local artist. He’s got these wild ideas about turning the old train station into an art gallery. I’m like, “Dude, that’s genius!” But then he goes on about how the government won’t fund it. Ugh, typical. After that, I hit up the old train station on Jalan Stasiun. It’s such a cool spot, but it’s falling apart. I can’t believe they’re not doing anything about it. I mean, come on! It’s a piece of history! I’m getting all fired up, thinking about how they should totally renovate it. Then, I walk over to the riverbank. The view is stunning. The sun’s setting, and the sky’s all orange and pink. I’m just standing there, soaking it all in. But then, I see this group of kids throwing trash into the river. My heart sinks. I’m like, “What are you doing?!” I march over, and I’m all ready to give them a lecture. But they just laugh and run off. Kids these days, right? By now, I’m exhausted. I head back to my place, and I’m thinking about how much I love this city. It’s messy, chaotic, and sometimes frustrating, but it’s home. I plop down on my couch, and I can’t help but smile. Pekan-Bahapal, you’ve got my heart. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
