Man, lemme tell ya about my day in Rajapolah. Wow, just wow. I’m a shepherd, right? So, I’m used to chillin’ with my sheep, not dealin’ with city chaos. But today? Total rollercoaster. First off, I hit the road early. Like, before the sun even thought about waking up. I was just tryna get to the market on Jl. Raya Rajapolah. You know, the one with all the stalls? I thought I’d grab some fresh veggies for my fam. But nah, the universe had other plans. So, I’m walkin’ down Jl. Raya, and it’s already packed. Like, where did all these people come from? I swear, it felt like a concert. I’m dodging folks left and right, and I’m like, “Excuse me, I’m just a humble shepherd here!” But no one cares. They’re all busy with their phones, takin’ selfies with the street food. Then, I spot this dude selling sate. Man, that stuff smells divine! I’m like, “Yo, I’ll take a stick!” But guess what? He runs out right before me. I’m like, “Are you kidding me?!” I was so mad, I could’ve kicked a rock. But I just laughed it off. What else can ya do, right? Next, I head over to Jl. Cikuray. It’s quieter there, thank goodness. I’m thinkin’ I can finally breathe. But nope! I see this old lady trying to cross the street. She’s like a turtle, slow and steady. I’m like, “C’mon, lady! We got places to be!” But I help her anyway. I mean, I’m a shepherd, not a monster. After that, I finally make it to the market. It’s a whole vibe! Fresh fruits, veggies, and the best part? The people! Everyone’s chattin’, laughin’, and I’m just soaking it all in. I grab some tomatoes and a bunch of kangkung. Gotta keep it healthy, ya know? But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I mean, like, monsoon level! I’m soaked in seconds. My sheep would’ve laughed at me if they saw me. I’m runnin’ for cover, and I end up in this little warung on Jl. Pahlawan. The owner’s super chill, offers me a cup of kopi. I’m like, “Yes, please!” Sippin’ that coffee, I start talkin’ to the owner. He’s got stories, man! Tells me about the history of Rajapolah, how it used to be a quiet village. Now it’s all hustle and bustle. I’m like, “Wow, I didn’t know that!” Makes me appreciate my roots more. Finally, the rain stops. I’m thinkin’ it’s time to head back. But as I’m leavin’, I see a group of kids playin’ soccer in the street. They’re havin’ a blast! I can’t help but join in. I’m kickin’ the ball, laughin’, and for a moment, I forget about the craziness of the day. Just pure joy, ya know? But then, I trip. Classic me. I fall right into a puddle. Now I’m muddy and soaked again. The kids are crackin’ up, and I’m just layin’ there like, “Great, just great.” But I laugh too. Can’t take life too seriously, right? By the time I get home, I’m exhausted but happy. I’ve got my veggies, a funny story, and a new appreciation for Rajapolah. It’s wild, it’s chaotic, but it’s home. And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Just a shepherd tryin’ to navigate the city life. Who knew Rajapolah could be so intense? But hey, that’s life, right? Full of surprises!
