Man, what a day! I woke up in Rangkasbitung, and I swear, I thought it was just gonna be another chill day. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I hit the streets of Jl. Raya Rangkasbitung, and it was like a scene from a movie. Cars honking, people rushing, and me just trying to sip my kopi tubruk without spilling it everywhere. So, I’m walking, right? And I see this street vendor on Jl. Siliwangi selling the best pisang goreng. I mean, who can resist that? I grab a piece, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, outta nowhere, this kid bumps into me. I drop my pisang goreng! NOOO! I was like, “Dude, watch where you’re going!” But he just giggles and runs off. Kids, man. After that, I decided to head to the market on Jl. Pahlawan. It’s always buzzing with life. Fresh fruits, veggies, and the smell of street food everywhere. I’m in my element. But then, I see this old lady struggling with her bags. I’m like, “C’mon, I gotta help her.” So I do. And she starts telling me her life story. I mean, I’m all for a good story, but I didn’t sign up for a 3-hour saga! Finally, I escape and head to the park near Alun-Alun Rangkasbitung. I just wanna chill, ya know? But then, I see this group of teenagers blasting music. Like, seriously? It’s a park, not a club! I’m trying to enjoy the sound of nature, and they’re over here with their loudspeakers. I’m about to lose it. But then, one of them starts dancing, and I can’t help but laugh. It’s like a bad TikTok video come to life. Then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring! I mean, it was sunny just a minute ago! I’m running for cover, dodging puddles like I’m in an obstacle course. I duck into this little warung on Jl. Cikupa, and the owner, this super friendly guy, offers me some warm soto. Bless him! I’m sitting there, sipping my soto, and I’m just like, “This is life.” But wait, it gets crazier. As I’m eating, I overhear this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m trying to enjoy my meal, but they’re making it hard. The guy’s like, “You never listen!” and the girl’s like, “Well, you never talk!” I’m just sitting there, thinking, “Man, relationships are wild.” After the rain stops, I decide to head home. But of course, the streets are flooded. I’m wading through water, and I’m like, “This is not what I signed up for.” I finally make it to my place, drenched but alive. I plop down on my couch, and I’m just like, “What a day!” Rangkasbitung, you never cease to amaze me. From the pisang goreng drama to the soto salvation, it’s been a rollercoaster. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Well, maybe a dry pair of socks. But that’s it!
