Man, today was a wild ride in Sewon. Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, ya know? But nah, the universe had other plans. So, I’m a firefighter, right? Yeah, the kinda job that gets your heart racing. But today? Today was next level. I hit the streets, cruising down Jalan Raya Sewon, and it was like the city was alive. The sun was blazing, and I could smell the street food from a mile away. Nasi goreng, man! I was drooling. But then, boom! Sirens blaring. My phone buzzes. Fire at a warehouse on Jalan Imogiri. I’m like, “Great, just what I needed.” We rush over, and the smoke is thick. I can’t even see my hand in front of my face. It’s chaos, people running, yelling. I’m trying to keep my cool, but inside? I’m freaking out. We get to the scene, and it’s a mess. Flames shooting up like they’re trying to touch the sky. I’m thinking, “This is it. This is how I go.” But then, I see a kid stuck on the roof. My heart drops. I can’t just stand there. I grab my gear and sprint towards the building. Climbing up those rickety stairs? Not my idea of fun. But I get up there, and the kid’s crying. I’m like, “Hey, buddy, it’s gonna be okay!” But honestly, I’m just as scared as he is. I scoop him up, and we make a run for it. Fire’s licking at my heels, and I’m thinking, “This is gonna make one hell of a story.” We get down, and the crowd goes wild. People are cheering, and I’m just standing there, drenched in sweat and smoke. I feel like a hero, but also like I need a nap. After that, I’m walking down Jalan Siliwangi, trying to catch my breath. I see this old lady selling snacks. I’m like, “Gimme all the fried bananas!” I need fuel after that madness. She laughs, and I swear, her smile could light up the whole city. But then, outta nowhere, my buddy calls. “Dude, there’s a cat stuck in a tree on Jalan Prawirotaman!” I’m like, “Seriously? A cat?” But I can’t say no. So, off I go again. When I get there, it’s a whole scene. This lady is crying, “Fluffy’s up there!” I’m rolling my eyes, but I climb the tree anyway. I’m up there, and Fluffy? This cat is just chilling, like, “What’s the fuss?” I grab him, and the crowd goes wild again. I’m like, “I’m not a cat whisperer, people!” Finally, I’m done for the day. I head to my favorite warung on Jalan Parangtritis. I order a cold drink and just sit there, soaking it all in. Sewon is crazy, man. One minute you’re saving lives, the next you’re rescuing cats. I think about how unpredictable life is. One moment you’re a hero, the next you’re just a dude eating fried bananas. But that’s what makes it all worth it, right? So yeah, Sewon, you’ve got my heart. Even if you drive me nuts sometimes. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
