Man, what a day! I swear, Sijunjung really knows how to throw a curveball. Woke up this morning, sun shining, birds chirping, thought it was gonna be chill. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I hit up Jl. Raya Sijunjung for some breakfast. You know, the usual: nasi goreng and a kopi. But the place was packed! Like, where did all these people come from? I mean, it’s a small town, right? But I guess everyone had the same idea. I was hangry, and the wait felt like forever. I was about to lose it. Finally got my food, and OMG, it was worth the wait. That nasi goreng was fire! Spicy, just how I like it. But then, I spilled some on my shirt. Classic me, right? I looked like a walking disaster. But whatever, I laughed it off. After breakfast, I headed to the sports complex on Jl. Diponegoro. Had a session with a local football team. These kids are talented, but man, they’re all over the place. One minute they’re focused, the next they’re chasing butterflies. I mean, c’mon! I tried to get them hyped, but they were more interested in their phones. I was like, “Dude, put the phone down! You’re not gonna score goals with TikTok!” But then, something amazing happened. One kid, let’s call him Budi, he started to really get into it. He scored a goal, and the whole team went wild! I felt this rush of joy. Like, yes! This is what it’s all about! I was cheering, they were cheering, it was a whole vibe. But then, outta nowhere, it started pouring. I mean, like, monsoon level rain. We all scrambled for cover. I ended up under this tiny awning on Jl. Merdeka with a bunch of kids. We were all soaked, laughing like crazy. I thought, “This is the best team-building exercise ever!” After the rain, I decided to take a stroll around the town. Sijunjung is beautiful, man. The green hills, the rice fields, it’s like a postcard. I walked down Jl. Pahlawan, and the air smelled like fresh grass and something sweet. I don’t even know what it was, but it was good. Then I hit up a local market. Wow, the colors! Fruits everywhere, people haggling, it was a scene. I tried to buy some durian. Yeah, I know, it’s controversial. But I love it! The vendor looked at me like I was crazy. “You sure?” he asked. I was like, “Dude, I’m a sports psychologist. I can handle it!” But then, I took a whiff. Ugh, it was bad. I changed my mind real quick. I ended up with some mangosteen instead. Much safer choice. As I was leaving the market, I bumped into an old friend. We hadn’t seen each other in ages! We started reminiscing about our high school days, all the crazy stuff we did. I was laughing so hard, I almost cried. But then, I got a call. One of my clients was having a meltdown. Ugh, the stress! I had to step away and take it. I was pacing around Jl. Soekarno-Hatta, trying to calm them down. It was a rollercoaster of emotions. Finally, I wrapped up the call and headed home. I was exhausted but happy. Sijunjung, you crazy little town, you really know how to keep things interesting. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. But for now, I’m just gonna crash. Peace out!
