Man, what a day! Seriously, Situbondo is wild. I woke up thinking it’d be chill, just another day studying the whole “attractiveness of professions” thing. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I hit the streets of Situbondo, right? I’m talking about Jalan Diponegoro, where the hustle is real. The sun was blazing, like, “Hey, you! Get ready to sweat!” I was already feeling the heat, and I hadn’t even had my coffee yet. Ugh. So, I’m walking, minding my own biz, when I see this street vendor selling the best soto. Like, I’m drooling just thinking about it. I grab a bowl, and it’s like a flavor explosion in my mouth. I’m happy, right? But then, outta nowhere, this stray dog decides my leg is its new best friend. I’m like, “Dude, chill!” But it’s all up in my business, wagging its tail like it’s the mayor of Situbondo. After that, I head over to the beach. Pantai Pasir Putih, man! It’s gorgeous! The waves are crashing, and I’m feeling all zen. But then, I see this group of kids playing soccer. They’re kicking the ball around, and I’m thinking, “Aww, cute.” But then, BOOM! The ball flies right at me! I duck, and it hits this old guy instead. He’s not happy. I’m like, “Sorry, bro!” But he just glares at me. I mean, c’mon! It’s just a game! Then, I decide to check out the local market on Jalan Raya Situbondo. It’s packed! I’m weaving through people, trying not to spill my drink. I see all these colorful fruits and veggies. I’m like, “Wow, this is dope!” But then, I trip over a basket of mangos. Seriously, who puts a basket in the middle of the walkway? I’m on the ground, and everyone’s staring. I’m laughing it off, but inside, I’m like, “This is so embarrassing!” Later, I meet up with some friends at a café near Alun-Alun Situbondo. We’re chatting about life, work, and all that jazz. I’m trying to explain my research, but they’re just staring at me like I’m speaking Martian. I’m like, “Guys, it’s not that complicated!” But they just want to talk about the latest gossip. I mean, who cares about that? As the sun sets, I’m walking back home, and I see this beautiful view of the mountains. It’s breathtaking! I stop to take a pic, and this random guy walks by and photobombs me. I’m like, “Dude, really?” But then I laugh. It’s just one of those days, ya know? By the time I get home, I’m exhausted but happy. Situbondo is crazy, but it’s my kind of crazy. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. Maybe I’ll just stay in and binge-watch something. Or maybe I’ll hit the streets again. Who knows? Life’s too short to plan everything, right? Anyway, that’s my day. Full of ups and downs, but that’s what makes it fun. Situbondo, you’ve got my heart!
