Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I woke up in Sleman, right? You know, that chill spot in Yogyakarta? Yeah, that one. I was all set to edit some tracks, but life had other plans. First off, I hit the streets of Sleman. I mean, who doesn’t love a good morning stroll? I was cruising down Jalan Magelang, feeling the vibe. The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and I was like, “Today’s gonna be epic!” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. I stopped by this little warung for some breakfast. Nasi goreng, of course! But the guy behind the counter? Total grump. I asked for extra sambal, and he just stared at me like I was speaking Martian. Like, c’mon dude, it’s just sambal! I mean, I get it, mornings are rough, but don’t take it out on my food! After that, I headed to the studio. I was pumped to work on this new track. But guess what? My laptop decided to throw a tantrum. Yup, it crashed. Right when I was about to save my work. I could feel my heart drop. I was like, “Noooooo!” I mean, who needs a heart when you’ve got a laptop that hates you, right? So, I took a breather. Walked over to Jalan Kaliurang. The fresh air helped a bit. I saw this cute little café, and I thought, “Why not?” I ordered a kopi joss. If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out! It’s like coffee with a twist. Literally. They put hot charcoal in it. Crazy, right? But it’s so good! While I was sipping my coffee, I overheard this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I couldn’t help but chuckle. They were fighting over where to eat. I mean, c’mon! Just flip a coin or something! But then again, I get it. Food decisions can be life or death in Sleman. After my caffeine fix, I went back to the studio. I was determined to get my work done. But then, the power went out. Classic Sleman, right? I mean, it’s like the universe was conspiring against me. I was ready to throw my laptop out the window. But instead, I just sat there, staring at the blank screen. Finally, the power came back. I was like, “Thank you, universe!” I got back to editing, and it was going great. I was vibing, feeling the music. But then, my phone buzzed. It was my buddy, asking if I wanted to hit up the night market later. I was torn. Work or food? I chose food. Duh! So, I wrapped up my work and headed to Jalan Raya Sleman. The night market was lit! So many stalls, so much food. I felt like a kid in a candy store. I tried everything—satay, bakso, you name it. I even got some es dawet. It was heavenly! But then, I saw this guy juggling fire. Like, what? I was mesmerized. I mean, who juggles fire in the middle of a night market? Only in Sleman, I guess. I was so into it that I almost dropped my food. As the night went on, I bumped into some old friends. We laughed, reminisced, and shared stories. It was the perfect end to a chaotic day. I realized that even with all the craziness, Sleman has this charm. It’s unpredictable, but that’s what makes it fun. So, yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Sleman, you crazy, but I love ya!
