Man, today was a wild ride in Soreang! Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, but boy, was I wrong. First off, I hit the streets of Soreang, and lemme tell ya, the traffic on Jl. Raya Soreang was a total nightmare. I mean, c’mon! It’s like everyone decided to drive at the same time. I was stuck behind this ancient motorbike that was sputtering like it was about to give up on life. So, I finally made it to the market on Jl. Cibadak. You know, the one that’s always buzzing with life? I was hyped for some fresh fruits. But then, I saw this vendor selling durians. Ugh, durians! They smell like a gym sock left in the sun. I was like, “No thanks, bro!” But the guy insisted. “Best in Soreang!” he said. Yeah, right. I’d rather eat cardboard. Then, outta nowhere, I bumped into my old buddy, Rudi. We used to run around these streets as kids, causing chaos. We started reminiscing about the good ol’ days, you know? Like that time we tried to ride our bikes down Jl. Soreang-Ciwidey and ended up in a ditch. Classic! We laughed so hard, I almost cried. But then, the mood shifted. Rudi told me he lost his job. My heart sank. I mean, this dude’s got a family to feed. I felt so angry at the system. Why’s it so hard for good people to get a break? Soreang’s got potential, but sometimes it feels like it’s stuck in a rut. After that heavy convo, I needed a pick-me-up. So, I hit up my fave warung on Jl. Pahlawan. The nasi goreng there is legendary! I ordered a plate, and while waiting, I noticed this cute cat just chilling on the counter. I swear, it looked like it owned the place. I named it “Soreang Kitty.” When my food finally came, I dug in like I hadn’t eaten in days. It was spicy, just how I like it! But then, I felt a weird crunch. I thought I found a hidden treasure, but nah, just a piece of fried onion. I laughed at myself. Classic me, always expecting the unexpected. Then, I decided to stroll around the park near Jl. Soreang-Ciparay. It’s such a nice spot, with all those trees and the little pond. I sat on a bench, just soaking it all in. But then, this group of kids started playing soccer nearby. They were kicking the ball around like they were in the World Cup. One kid kicked it too hard, and it came flying at me! I ducked just in time. Phew! Almost became a casualty of Soreang soccer. As the sun started to set, I felt this wave of gratitude wash over me. Yeah, today was a rollercoaster. But it reminded me of how alive Soreang is. The people, the food, the chaos—it’s all part of the charm. I headed home, thinking about how tomorrow’s gonna be another adventure. So, that was my day in Soreang. Full of ups and downs, laughter and frustration. But hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
