Man, today was a wild ride in Sukabumi! Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, but nah, life had other plans. First off, I hit the streets of Jl. Siliwangi, and wow, the traffic was insane! I mean, c’mon, it’s not like we’re in Jakarta, right? But there I was, stuck behind a bajaj that looked like it was about to fall apart. I swear, I could hear it wheezing. So, I finally get outta that mess and head to this little café on Jl. Ahmad Yani. You know the one? The one with the best kopi Susu in town. I’m all set to sip my coffee and get some work done. But then, bam! My laptop decides it’s time to crash. Like, really? Right now? I’m about to lose it. I mean, I’m an Art Director, not a tech wizard! After I calmed down, I took a stroll to the Sukabumi Square. It’s this cool spot where all the locals hang out. I saw this street performer doing some crazy tricks with fire. I was like, “Dude, you’re gonna set yourself on fire!” But he was nailing it. I couldn’t help but cheer. It was a nice break from my laptop drama. Then, I decided to grab some street food. You know, the good stuff. I hit up this warung on Jl. Citarik. The smell of sate was calling my name. I ordered a plate, and while I was waiting, I overheard this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I was just trying to enjoy my food, man! But it was kinda funny. They were arguing about who left the lights on at home. I mean, c’mon, that’s a classic! After that, I was feeling pretty good. I walked over to the Sukabumi Botanical Garden. It’s so beautiful there! The flowers were blooming, and the air was fresh. I took a deep breath and thought, “This is what life’s about.” But then, outta nowhere, it started pouring! I mean, seriously? I was drenched in seconds. I was laughing and cursing at the same time. So, I ducked into this little shop on Jl. Pelabuhan. The owner was super chill and offered me a towel. I was like, “Thanks, man! You’re a lifesaver!” We ended up chatting about the weather and how unpredictable it is here. He told me about the time it rained for a week straight. I was like, “No way!” But he was dead serious. Finally, I decided to head home. I was exhausted but happy. I mean, what a day! Sukabumi really knows how to throw you for a loop. I got angry, I laughed, I even got soaked. But that’s what makes life interesting, right? As I lay in bed, I thought about all the crazy stuff that happened. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Sukabumi, you’re a gem, even when you drive me nuts! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
