Man, lemme tell ya about my day in Sumberpucung. Woke up, sun blazin’ through my window. I’m a lumberjack, right? So, I’m used to the woods, not this city buzz. But today? Oh boy, it was a wild ride. First off, I hit up Jl. Raya Sumberpucung. Traffic was a mess! Like, c’mon people, it’s not a race! I’m sittin’ there, just tryin’ to get to the lumber yard. My truck’s old, like, ancient. It’s got more rust than metal. But hey, it’s mine. I love that ol’ beast. Finally, I get to the yard. And guess what? No wood! Like, seriously? I’m ready to chop some trees, and there’s nada. I’m fumin’. I mean, what’s a lumberjack without wood? It’s like a fish outta water, ya know? So, I’m pacing around, thinkin’ about how I’m gonna explain this to my boss. Then, outta nowhere, I bump into this dude. He’s all like, “Hey man, you look stressed.” I’m like, “No kidding, Sherlock!” Turns out, he’s from the local market on Jl. Diponegoro. He’s got some crazy ideas about woodwork. I’m intrigued. We start chattin’, and he’s got this wild plan to make furniture from recycled stuff. I’m thinkin’, “This could be cool.” But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy, Rudi. He’s at the Sumberpucung park, sayin’ there’s a festival. I’m like, “Dude, I’m stuck here!” But he’s persistent. “C’mon, man! You gotta see this!” So, I’m torn. Work or fun? Fun wins. I zoom over to the park. It’s packed! Food stalls everywhere. I can smell the satay from a mile away. My stomach’s growlin’ like a bear. I grab a plate, and man, it’s delicious! I’m munchin’ away, and suddenly, I see this dance performance. These kids are bustin’ moves like they’re on fire! I’m clappin’, laughin’, just lovin’ the vibe. But then, outta nowhere, it starts rainin’. Like, heavy rain! Everyone’s runnin’ for cover. I’m soaked, but I’m laughin’ like a madman. I mean, who cares? I’m in Sumberpucung, livin’ it up! After the rain, the air smells fresh. I’m wanderin’ around, checkin’ out the stalls. I find this guy sellin’ handmade crafts. He’s got these cool wooden carvings. I’m thinkin’, “Man, I could make that!” But then I remember, I’m a lumberjack, not an artist. As the sun sets, the park lights up. It’s magical. I sit on a bench, just takin’ it all in. The laughter, the music, the smell of food. I feel grateful. Life’s good, ya know? But then, I get a call from my boss. “Where are you?” he barks. I’m like, “Chill, I’m at a festival!” He’s not amused. I can feel my heart sink. I’m thinkin’, “Great, now I’m in trouble.” So, I head back to the yard, my mood all messed up. But as I drive, I can’t help but smile. Sumberpucung’s got this energy. It’s chaotic, but it’s home. I might be a lumberjack, but today, I was just a guy livin’ life. And that’s my day. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s what makes it real, right?
