Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I wake up in my little pad on Jl. Raya Sumedang. The sun’s blasting through my window like it’s got a vendetta. I grab my guitar, of course. Can’t start the day without it, right? First stop, I hit up this warung on Jl. Cimanuk. Best nasi goreng ever! I mean, I could swim in that stuff. The lady there, she knows me. She’s like, “Hey, guitar man! You gonna play for us today?” I’m like, “You bet!” So, I scarf down my food, and I’m already feeling the vibes. Then, I stroll down to Alun-Alun Sumedang. It’s packed! Kids running around, old folks chilling, and me, just trying to find a spot to jam. I set up, and boom! I start strumming. People gather, and I’m feeling it. But then, outta nowhere, this dude starts yelling. Like, seriously? I’m trying to create magic here! Turns out, he’s just mad about his phone getting stolen. I mean, who steals a phone in broad daylight? Anyway, I keep playing, and the crowd’s loving it. I’m on fire! Then, this girl walks by. Wow. She’s got this smile that could light up the whole city. I’m trying to focus on my music, but my brain’s like, “Dude, go talk to her!” But nah, I just keep playing. Classic me, right? After my set, I’m feeling pumped. I decide to hit up Jl. Pahlawan. There’s this little café I love. I order a kopi Sumedang, and it’s like liquid gold. I sit there, sipping my coffee, and I overhear this convo about the local football team. Apparently, they’re in the finals! I’m like, “What? I gotta go!” So, I rush over to the stadium. It’s packed! Everyone’s wearing their jerseys, and the energy is insane. I’m just a guitar guy, but I’m feeling like a rockstar. The game starts, and it’s wild! Goals flying left and right. I’m cheering, jumping, and then—BAM! The other team scores. I’m like, “No way!” But then, our team scores back! The crowd goes nuts! I’m hugging random strangers, high-fiving everyone. It’s pure chaos, and I’m loving every second. But then, I get a text. My buddy’s like, “Dude, your guitar’s at the café!” I’m like, “What?!” Panic mode activated. I sprint back to Jl. Pahlawan, dodging people like I’m in a video game. I get there, and thank goodness, my guitar’s still there. I’m sweating bullets, but I grab it and head back to the stadium. The game’s almost over, and it’s tied. My heart’s racing. Last minute, our team gets a penalty kick. Everyone’s holding their breath. The player takes the shot—GOAL! The place erupts! I’m screaming, jumping, and I swear I almost cried. After the game, I’m on cloud nine. I head back to Alun-Alun, guitar in hand. I start playing again, and people are still buzzing from the game. I’m jamming, and this time, I see the girl again. She’s smiling! I’m like, “Okay, this is my chance.” I finish my song, walk over, and say, “Hey, you like music?” She laughs, and we start chatting. Turns out, she plays too! We talk about everything—music, life, Sumedang. It’s like we’ve known each other forever. As the sun sets, I’m sitting there with her, guitar resting on my knee, feeling like the luckiest guy in the world. Sumedang-Utara, you’ve got my heart. What a day, right? I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
