Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in Sungai-Penuh, right? The sun was blazin’ like it was auditioning for a role in a movie. I mean, come on, it’s like 30 degrees at 8 AM! I’m already sweating like a pig. First thing, I hit up the local warung on Jalan Raya. You know, the one with the best nasi goreng? Yeah, that one. I ordered my usual, and the lady behind the counter, she’s like, “No rice today!” I’m like, “What?!” I mean, how do you run a warung without rice? It’s like a burger joint without burgers! So, I settled for some mie goreng. Not the same, but whatever. Then, I had to rush to the office. Traffic on Jalan Jendral Sudirman was insane! I swear, I could’ve walked faster. I was stuck behind this old truck that looked like it was from the Stone Age. I was like, “C’mon, man! Move it!” But no, he was just chillin’, probably reminiscing about the good ol’ days. Finally, I get to the office, and guess what? My boss, Mr. Budi, is in a mood. He’s pacing around like a caged tiger. I’m like, “Dude, what’s up?” Turns out, he’s mad about some report that went missing. I’m thinking, “Great, just what I need.” So, I spent the next hour digging through piles of papers. I found everything but the report. I even found a half-eaten donut from last month. Gross! After that, I needed a break. So, I decided to take a stroll down to Taman Kota. You know, the park with the fountain? It’s usually so chill, but today? Nah. There were kids everywhere, screaming and running around like they were on a sugar high. I just wanted some peace! But then, I saw this cute puppy. OMG, my heart melted. I had to pet it. Best moment of the day, hands down. But then, outta nowhere, it started pouring! Like, seriously, it was like someone dumped a bucket of water on me. I ran for cover under a tree on Jalan Pahlawan. I was soaked, and my hair looked like a wet mop. I was laughing at myself, thinking, “This is just perfect.” When the rain finally stopped, I headed back to the office, looking like a drowned rat. My coworkers were cracking up. I mean, I can’t blame them. I looked ridiculous. But hey, at least I brought some joy to their boring day, right? Later, I had to deal with a client who was super picky. Like, come on, dude! It’s just a simple project! He kept saying, “I want it this way, not that way.” I was like, “Okay, Mr. Perfectionist, let’s just get this done.” I mean, I get it, but chill out! Finally, the day wrapped up. I was exhausted. I walked home through Jalan Merdeka, and the sunset was beautiful. The sky was all orange and pink, and for a moment, I forgot about the craziness of the day. I thought, “Sungai-Penuh, you’re kinda awesome.” So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Just another day in the life of an office manager, right?
