Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Tambolaka, right? The sun’s blazin’ through my window on Jl. Raya Tambolaka. I’m like, “Ugh, another day of crunchin’ numbers.” But then, BOOM! My phone buzzes. It’s my boss. “Hey, we need those reports ASAP!” Like, chill, dude. I just woke up! So, I grab my coffee from that little warung on Jl. Pahlawan. Best coffee ever, by the way. I swear, it’s like liquid motivation. I’m chuggin’ it down, and I see this street vendor selling pisang goreng. I’m like, “Yum!” But I gotta focus. Reports first, snacks later, right? I get to the office on Jl. Soekarno-Hatta, and it’s chaos. Papers everywhere! My coworker, Rina, is freakin’ out. “The client’s mad! They want changes!” I’m like, “Dude, chill. We got this.” But inside, I’m like, “Oh no, not again!” So, I dive into the numbers. I’m talkin’ spreadsheets, formulas, the whole shebang. My brain’s fried. I look out the window, and there’s this street musician playin’ a catchy tune. I’m boppin’ my head, tryin’ to focus. But then, my phone buzzes again. It’s my mom. “Did you eat?!” Classic mom move. I’m like, “Yeah, mom, I had coffee!” Finally, I finish the reports. I’m feelin’ like a champ. But then, I realize I forgot to save. My heart drops. I’m like, “Nooooo!” I can’t believe it. I’m about to lose it. But Rina’s like, “Chill, I got a backup.” Thank the universe for Rina! So, we send the reports, and I’m feelin’ good. But then, my boss calls me in. I’m thinkin’, “Oh great, what now?” He’s like, “You did great, but…” There’s always a “but,” right? He wants me to present at the meeting. I’m like, “What?!” My heart’s racing. I’m not a public speaker! I head to the meeting room on Jl. Diponegoro, and my palms are sweaty. I’m thinkin’, “Just breathe, dude.” I start talkin’, and it’s like my mouth has a mind of its own. I’m ramblin’ about numbers, and I see people nodding. I’m like, “Wait, they’re actually listening?” After the meeting, I’m on cloud nine. I walk out, and it’s raining. Like, seriously? I didn’t bring an umbrella! I’m sprinting down the street, dodging puddles. I look like a wet dog. But then, I see that street vendor again. I can’t resist. I buy a bunch of pisang goreng. Best decision ever! I finally get home, soaked but happy. I plop down on my couch, and I’m like, “What a day!” I think about Tambolaka. The streets, the people, the food. It’s wild, but I love it. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
