OMG, what a day! Like, seriously, Tanjungtiram, you’ve got me all kinds of twisted. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be lit!” Spoiler alert: it was NOT.
First off, I’m rushing to get to Jl. Raya Tanjungtiram. Traffic? Ugh, don’t even get me started. It’s like everyone decided to take their sweet time today. I’m stuck behind this ancient motorbike that’s sputtering like it’s about to die. I’m like, “C’mon, dude, we got places to be!”
Finally, I get to the salon. The vibe is chill, but my first client? Total diva. She walks in, all “I need a transformation!” Girl, you just want a trim. But whatever, I’m a pro. I whip out my scissors, and she’s like, “Not too much!” I’m thinking, “Then why’d you ask for a transformation?”
After that, I head to Jl. Pantai, right? I need a break. Grab a coconut drink from this cute little stand. The guy there is super friendly, but then he spills half of it on me! I’m soaked, sticky, and now I smell like coconut. Great. Just what I needed.
Then, I get a call. My buddy, Rudi, is like, “Yo, you gotta see this!” I’m intrigued. Turns out, there’s a pop-up market at Jl. Pahlawan. I’m thinking, “Why not?” So I rush over. The market’s buzzing! Food stalls everywhere, people laughing, music blasting. I’m in heaven.
I grab some nasi goreng, and it’s fire! Like, I’m talking spicy, flavorful goodness. But then, I see this guy trying to haggle over a pair of flip-flops. Dude, they’re like 20k! Just buy them already! I can’t with these people.
But then, I spot this amazing vintage dress at a stall. It’s calling my name! I’m like, “I need this!” I try it on, and it fits like a glove. I’m feeling myself, you know? But then, I realize I left my wallet at the salon. Ugh!
So, I rush back, dodging people on Jl. Merdeka. I’m practically sprinting. I get to the salon, and guess what? My wallet’s gone! Panic mode activated. I’m flipping out. I check everywhere. Under the couch, in the fridge (don’t ask), but no wallet.
Finally, I ask my co-worker, and she’s like, “Oh, I saw it in the break room.” I could’ve kissed her! I grab it, and I’m back to the market.
When I get there, the dress is gone! I’m like, “Nooooo!” I can’t believe it. I’m so bummed. But then, I see Rudi again, and he’s got this huge grin. He’s like, “I got you a surprise!” He hands me a cute little bracelet from the market. Aww, bestie goals!
The day ends with me chilling by the beach on Jl. Pantai again, watching the sunset. It’s beautiful, and I’m finally relaxed. I think about how crazy today was. Tanjungtiram, you’re wild, but I love you.
