Wow, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Tebingtinggi, right? The sun’s blazin’, and I’m like, “Ugh, another day in this crazy city.” But little did I know, it was gonna be a rollercoaster. First off, I hit up Jalan Sudirman for breakfast. You know, the usual nasi goreng and kopi tubruk. Man, that stuff hits different in the morning! I’m sittin’ there, minding my own biz, when this random cat jumps on my table. Like, dude, I’m tryin’ to eat here! But then I’m like, “Aww, look at this little furball.” So, I share my leftover rice. Yeah, I’m that person. After brekkie, I stroll down to the market on Jalan Yos Sudarso. It’s packed, like sardines in a can. I’m dodging people left and right. Suddenly, I hear this loud commotion. Turns out, some dude is tryin’ to haggle over a bunch of durians. Like, bro, it’s not that serious! But hey, I get it. Durians are life. Then, I bump into my buddy, Rudi. He’s always got the latest gossip. “Did you hear about the new café on Jalan Diponegoro?” he says. I’m like, “Nah, spill the tea!” Apparently, it’s got the best es kopi in town. So, of course, we gotta check it out. We head over, and OMG, it’s packed! I mean, who knew Tebingtinggi had such a coffee scene? I order this fancy drink, and Rudi’s just sippin’ on his regular. I tease him, “C’mon, live a little!” But he’s all about that simple life. While we’re chillin’, I get a call from a client. Ugh, work never stops, right? They’re all stressed about their career path. I’m like, “Dude, just breathe!” But inside, I’m thinkin’, “Why did I choose this job?” It’s rewarding, but man, the drama! After the coffee break, we decide to hit up the Tebingtinggi Grand Mosque. It’s beautiful, like, wow. I’m standing there, just taking it all in, when this little kid runs up to me. He’s like, “Mister, can you help me find my mom?” My heart just melts. I’m like, “Of course, buddy!” So, we start searching. We finally find his mom near the food stalls on Jalan Merdeka. She’s all frantic, and I’m like, “Chill, he’s safe!” But then she starts thanking me like I’m some kind of hero. I’m just a regular dude, ya know? But it felt good to help. Then, the day takes a turn. I’m walking back, and I see this street performer on Jalan Pahlawan. He’s playing the guitar, and it’s actually good! I stop to listen, and suddenly, it starts pouring rain. Like, outta nowhere! Everyone’s scrambling for cover, and I’m just standing there, laughing. “This is classic Tebingtinggi!” I run for shelter, and guess who I bump into? Rudi again! We’re both soaked, and I’m like, “This city is wild!” We end up chatting with the performer, who’s super chill. He tells us he’s been playing here for years. I’m like, “Dude, you’re living the dream!” Finally, the rain stops, and I’m exhausted. I head home, thinking about the day. It was a mix of chaos, laughter, and a bit of stress. But that’s Tebingtinggi for ya. Always full of surprises. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in this city. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
