Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in my little spot in Teluk-Dalam, right? The sun’s blasting through my window like it’s trying to roast me alive. I’m like, “Chill, sun! I’m not a lizard!” Anyway, I roll outta bed, grab my coffee, and head out. First stop? Jalan Raya, the main street. It’s always buzzing, like a beehive on caffeine. I’m dodging scooters left and right. These folks drive like they’re in a video game. I swear, if I had a dollar for every near-miss, I’d be rich. So, I’m walking, and I see this street vendor selling pisang goreng. Man, I love that stuff! I grab a bunch, and they’re hot and crispy. I’m munching away, feeling like a king. But then, bam! My phone buzzes. It’s my webcam business partner, asking about the new setup. I’m like, “Dude, I’m eating! Can’t we chat later?” But nooo, he’s all about business. I finish my snack and head to the studio on Jalan Pantai. The vibe there is always chill, but today? Nah, not so much. The equipment’s acting up. Like, seriously? Right when we’re about to go live? I’m sweating bullets. I’m yelling at the tech, “Fix it! We don’t have all day!” Finally, after what feels like an eternity, we’re good to go. I’m feeling pumped, ready to rock the show. But then, outta nowhere, the power goes out! I’m like, “Are you kidding me?!” I can’t even. The whole street goes dark. It’s like a scene from a horror movie. But then, the locals start lighting candles and laughing. I’m standing there, fuming, and they’re having a party! I can’t help but smile. It’s like they’re saying, “Who needs electricity when you have good vibes?” So, I join in. We’re all sitting on the street, sharing stories, and it’s actually kinda magical. After a while, the power comes back. I’m like, “Finally!” We jump back into the show, and it’s a hit! People are loving it. I’m feeling like a rockstar. But then, I get a message from a viewer saying my hair looks like a bird’s nest. I’m like, “Rude!” But I laugh it off. The night wraps up, and I’m walking home, still buzzing from the day. I pass by the beach on Jalan Laut, and the waves are crashing. It’s beautiful. I stop for a sec, take a deep breath, and think, “Man, Teluk-Dalam is wild.” I get home, plop on my couch, and just think about the day. It was crazy, emotional, and full of surprises. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. This city, with its quirks and charm, keeps me on my toes. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
