Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I’m a violin maker, right? And today in Teminabuan was like a rollercoaster ride. Buckle up, ‘cause this is gonna be a wild one. First off, I woke up late. Like, super late. My alarm? Totally ignored it. I jumped outta bed, hair all over the place, looking like a mad scientist. I had a commission to finish for some fancy concert at the Taman Kota Teminabuan. Ugh, pressure much? So, I rushed outta my house on Jalan Raya, dodging stray cats and the occasional motorbike. Seriously, those things are everywhere! I swear they think they own the road. Anyway, I finally made it to my workshop on Jalan Pahlawan. It’s a cozy little spot, filled with wood shavings and the smell of varnish. Heaven for a violin maker, right? I started working on this violin. It was supposed to be a masterpiece. But then, disaster struck! I dropped the scroll. Yup, the scroll! It shattered into a million pieces. I was like, “Nooooo!” I mean, come on! I was ready to throw a tantrum. But then I remembered, “Chill, dude. You can fix this.” So, I grabbed my glue and went to work. While I was at it, my buddy Rudi popped by. He’s always got some crazy stories. Today, he told me about this wild party on Jalan Merdeka last night. Apparently, someone brought a goat. A goat! Like, who does that? I couldn’t stop laughing. Rudi’s got a way of making the mundane sound epic. After a few hours of intense violin-making, I finally finished the piece. It looked gorgeous! I was so proud. I took it to the concert hall, which is right by the river. The view there is stunning. The sun was setting, casting this golden glow over everything. I felt like a rockstar. But then, I got hit with a wave of anxiety. What if they didn’t like it? What if they booed me? I mean, I’ve seen people get booed before. It’s not pretty. So, I stood there, pacing like a caged animal. Finally, the concert started. I was in the back, peeking through the curtains. The first violinist picked up my creation. My heart was racing. They started playing, and oh man, it was beautiful! The sound filled the hall, echoing off the walls. I was grinning like an idiot. But then, outta nowhere, the power went out! Total blackout! I was like, “Are you kidding me?” The audience gasped, and I thought, “This is it. My violin’s gonna be the reason for a disaster.” But then, the musicians kept playing! They didn’t even skip a beat. It was magical. After the concert, everyone was buzzing. They loved my violin! I was on cloud nine. I even got a few compliments from some fancy folks. One guy, in a suit, said it was the best sound he’d ever heard. I was like, “Dude, you just made my day!” But then, as I was leaving, I tripped on a loose tile on Jalan Jenderal. Classic me, right? I fell flat on my face. Everyone laughed, and I just had to laugh too. I mean, what else could I do? So, I headed home, exhausted but happy. Teminabuan had thrown me a wild ride today. From broken violins to goat parties, it was a day to remember. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. But for now, I’m just gonna crash. Peace out!
