Man, what a day! I swear, Trenggalek really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I’m a forester, right? Usually chillin’ in the woods, but today? Nah, today was all about the city life. First off, I hit up Jalan Soekarno-Hatta. Traffic was a mess! Like, come on, people! It’s not a race! I’m sittin’ there, just tryin’ to get to the market. I needed some supplies for my next trip into the forest. But nooo, everyone’s in a hurry. I’m like, “Dude, it’s not like the trees are gonna run away!” Finally, I get to the market. It’s packed! I mean, who knew Trenggalek had this many people? I’m dodging folks left and right. I spot this vendor selling fresh fruits. Mangos, man! They looked so good. I’m like, “Gimme those!” But then, this kid bumps into me. I drop my wallet! Ugh! My heart sank. I thought I lost it. But nah, it was just under my foot. Phew! Then, I’m walking down Jalan Merdeka, and I see this street performer. He’s juggling, right? But he’s not just juggling balls. Nah, he’s juggling coconuts! I’m like, “What the heck?!” I can barely juggle one ball, and this dude’s got coconuts flying everywhere. I laugh so hard, I almost choke on my iced tea. After that, I decide to grab some lunch. I hit up this warung on Jalan Pahlawan. Best nasi goreng ever! Seriously, I could eat that stuff every day. The owner, this old lady, she’s super sweet. She’s like, “You want extra sambal?” I’m like, “Heck yes!” I love that spicy stuff. But man, it was so spicy, I started sweating like crazy. I’m sitting there, tears in my eyes, but I’m still eating. Gotta love the pain, right? Then, I get a call from my buddy. He’s like, “Yo, meet me at the beach!” I’m like, “Which beach?” There are a few around here, you know? But he’s at Pantai Prigi. So, I hop on my bike and zoom over. When I get there, the sunset is insane! Like, the sky is on fire. I’m standing there, just soaking it all in. But then, I see my buddy. He’s trying to impress some girls. Classic! He’s doing this ridiculous dance. I can’t even. I’m laughing so hard, I almost drop my phone. But then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain! Like, what? It was sunny two seconds ago! Everyone’s scrambling for cover. I’m just standing there, getting soaked. I’m like, “This is the best day ever!” Finally, the rain stops, and we all head back to the beach. The waves are crashing, and it’s just beautiful. I’m feeling all kinds of emotions. Happy, angry, surprised—like a rollercoaster. As the night rolls in, we sit around a fire. My buddy’s still trying to impress those girls. I’m just chillin’, thinking about how crazy today was. Trenggalek, man. It’s wild. One minute you’re in traffic, the next you’re at the beach, soaking wet, laughing with friends. I head home, exhausted but happy. I think about the trees waiting for me tomorrow. But today? Today was a blast! Trenggalek, you’ve got my heart.
