Man, today was a wild ride in Ungaran! Like, seriously, I can’t even. Woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it totally betrayed me. So, I’m rushing outta my place on Jl. Diponegoro, barely grabbing my helmet. Gotta love that morning chaos, right? First stop? The market on Jl. Soekarno-Hatta. It’s always buzzing, like a beehive on caffeine. I’m dodging people, tripping over some random chicken. No joke! This chicken was just chillin’ in the middle of the path. I’m like, “Dude, move!” But nah, it just stared at me. I swear it was judging my life choices. Grabbed some nasi goreng from a stall. Best in town, no cap. The lady there, she knows me. “Hey, Picador! Extra spicy today?” I’m like, “You know it!” I love that she gets me. Food is life, am I right? Then, I hit the road. Jl. Pahlawan was a mess. Traffic everywhere! I’m stuck behind this old dude on a scooter. He’s going like 10 km/h. I’m losing my mind. “C’mon, grandpa! Let’s go!” But he’s just vibing, probably listening to some old-school dangdut. Finally, I get to the park near Jl. Merdeka. It’s my chill spot. I sit down, take a breather. The view? Stunning. Mountains in the background, trees swaying. But then, outta nowhere, a kid runs by, kicks a ball, and BAM! Hits me right in the face. I’m like, “What the heck, kid?” He just laughs and runs off. I’m torn between being mad and laughing. Kids, man. After that, I decide to hit up a café on Jl. Ahmad Yani. It’s got the best kopi. I order my usual, and the barista, she’s super cute. I try to play it cool, but I’m sweating like a pig. I mean, who knew ordering coffee could be so intense? I’m just there, sipping my drink, trying to act all chill. Then, I get a call. My buddy’s in trouble. He’s stuck at some random bar in Ungaran. I rush over, weaving through traffic like a pro. Jl. Raya is packed, but I’m on a mission. I finally get there, and he’s just sitting there, looking all sad. Turns out, he lost a bet. Classic. We end up laughing about it, but then the bartender kicks us out. “No more bets!” he says. I’m like, “Dude, chill! We’re just having fun!” But whatever, we hit the streets again. As the sun sets, the city lights up. Ungaran looks magical. I’m feeling all the feels. Happy, angry, surprised—like a rollercoaster. I ride back home, thinking about how crazy today was. I finally crash on my bed, exhausted but smiling. Ungaran, you never fail to surprise me. What a day!
