Man, what a day! I woke up in Balally, and let me tell ya, it was a rollercoaster. First off, I live on the corner of Ballintyre Road, and my alarm? Yeah, it decided to play hide and seek. I was late for my gig. Classic, right? So, I’m sprinting down the street, dodging cars on the main road. You know, the one that leads to the Luas stop? Yeah, that one. I’m like, “C’mon, c’mon!” I finally make it, and guess what? The tram’s packed. Like, sardines in a can packed. I squeeze in, and this dude next to me smells like he bathed in garlic. Ugh. Anyway, I get to the shoot location, and it’s at this cute little café on the corner of Ballawley Park. The vibe is chill, but the barista? Total diva. She’s like, “We don’t do oat milk.” I’m like, “What is this, 2010?” But whatever, I grab a black coffee. Gotta fuel up, right? So, I’m setting up my stuff, and outta nowhere, this kid runs by, chasing a dog. The dog? It’s a fluffy golden retriever, and it just jumps right into my shot! I’m like, “Dude, this is not a petting zoo!” But honestly, it was kinda cute. I snapped a pic of the chaos. Then, I’m trying to focus, and my phone buzzes. It’s my mate, asking if I wanna hit up the pub later. I’m like, “Sure, but I gotta finish this first.” But then, I spill coffee all over my notes. Great. Just great. I’m sitting there, trying to salvage my work, and I’m fuming. But then, the sun comes out. Like, outta nowhere. It’s shining on the park, and I see families having picnics. Kids are laughing, and I’m like, “Aww, this is nice.” I take a deep breath, and suddenly, I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. After the shoot, I decide to stroll down to the Balally Shopping Centre. I need to grab some snacks. I walk past the old church on the way, and it’s so pretty. I mean, who knew Balally had such charm? I pop into the shop, and guess what? They have my fave crisps! Score! But then, I see this guy trying to parallel park. He’s struggling hard. I’m talking 10 minutes of back and forth. I’m just standing there, munching on my crisps, laughing. Finally, he gives up and just drives off. Classic Balally moment, right? As the day winds down, I meet up with my mate at the pub on the corner of the main street. We’re chatting about life, and I’m like, “Dude, today was wild.” He’s cracking up, and I’m just happy to be chilling. But then, outta nowhere, this random guy starts singing karaoke. And he’s terrible! Like, off-key and everything. But the crowd? They’re loving it! I’m dying laughing. Balally really knows how to throw a good time. So, yeah, my day was a mix of chaos, laughter, and a bit of frustration. But that’s Balally for ya. It’s messy, it’s beautiful, and it’s totally unpredictable. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
