Wow, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I’m a Geisha, right? And today was just... ugh, intense. Like, I woke up in my little room on Main St. in Cavan, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I had a tea ceremony booked at this cute little spot on Church St. It’s all traditional and stuff, but the tea? It was like drinking hot grass. I mean, who even likes that? But whatever, I’m a pro, so I smiled through it. Gotta keep the vibe, ya know? Then, outta nowhere, this tourist group rolls in. Like, can’t they see I’m trying to zen out? They were loud, taking selfies, and one dude spilled his drink all over the tatami mats. I was like, “Dude, really?!” I mean, come on, respect the space! I had to bite my tongue. After that chaos, I headed over to the Cavan Crystal Factory. OMG, the glasswork is stunning! I was totally vibing with the colors and shapes. But then, I tripped over my own feet. Classic me, right? I knocked over a display. Glass everywhere! I thought I’d die of embarrassment. But the staff were super chill about it. They even laughed! I was like, “Phew, saved by the kindness of strangers.” Next, I strolled down the River Erne. It was so pretty, but then I saw this swan. And let me tell you, that swan was NOT having it. It hissed at me! Like, excuse me, I’m just trying to enjoy the view! I laughed it off, but inside I was like, “What’s your problem, swan?” Then, I hit up the Cavan Town Park. It’s got this lovely vibe, but today? It was packed with kids. They were running around, screaming, and I just wanted a moment of peace. I found a bench, plopped down, and tried to meditate. But nope, kids were playing tag right next to me. I swear, I almost joined in. Later, I met up with my friend Yuki at The Imperial Bar. We needed a drink after that madness. I ordered a gin and tonic, and she got a whiskey. We laughed about the day, and I told her about the swan. She couldn’t stop giggling! I mean, who gets hissed at by a swan? Only me, right? As the sun set, we walked along the streets of Cavan, and everything felt magical. The lights were twinkling, and I felt this rush of happiness. I love this town! It’s quirky, it’s beautiful, and it’s home. But then, outta nowhere, it started to rain. Like, seriously? I was soaked in seconds. We dashed into a shop on Bridge St. to wait it out. I was laughing so hard, I could barely breathe. Yuki was like, “This is the best day ever!” And I was like, “You’re insane!” Finally, we made it back to my place, drenched but happy. I flopped onto my bed, thinking about how wild today was. Cavan, you crazy little town, you never fail to surprise me. I wouldn’t trade this life for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups, downs, and a hissing swan. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
