Man, what a day! I swear, Isfiya really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” LOL, boy was I wrong. First off, I hit up the local market on Al-Mahajir Street. You know, the one with all the spices and fresh produce? I’m strolling, vibing, when I spot this old dude selling the best za’atar. I’m talking, like, the kind that makes your taste buds do a happy dance. I grab a bag, and he’s like, “You know, this is the secret to happiness.” I’m like, “Dude, I just want my manakish to taste bomb.” But hey, I’m all for wisdom, right? Then, outta nowhere, this kid runs past me, chasing a goat. A freakin’ goat! I’m cracking up, but then the goat decides to make a break for it. It bolts down Al-Mahajir, and I’m just standing there, laughing my ass off. The kid’s yelling, “Come back, you little rascal!” I mean, who knew goats could be so fast? After that, I head over to the old stone houses near the main square. You know, the ones that look like they’ve been there since forever? I love that vibe. But then, I see this group of tourists taking selfies. Like, c’mon, people! You’re in Isfiya! Look at the history, not just your phones! I’m rolling my eyes, but whatever. So, I decide to grab some coffee at this cute little café on Al-Mahajir. I order a cappuccino, and the barista, this chill dude, starts chatting me up. He’s telling me about the best spots in town, and I’m like, “Dude, I live here!” But he’s super passionate, and I can’t help but smile. He says, “You gotta check out the view from the top of the mountain.” I’m like, “Yeah, yeah, I’ll get to it.” But then, I get a text from my buddy. He’s stuck in traffic on the way to Isfiya. I’m like, “Bro, it’s a straight shot!” Turns out, there’s a parade or something on Al-Mahajir. I’m thinking, “Great, just what I need.” But then I hear the drums and see the dancers, and I’m like, “Okay, this is kinda cool.” I join the crowd, and suddenly, I’m dancing too! I mean, who can resist a good beat? I’m twirling around, feeling all the good vibes. But then, I trip over my own feet. Classic me, right? I fall, and everyone’s like, “Are you okay?” I’m laughing, saying, “Yeah, just testing the ground!” After the parade, I’m feeling all hyped. I decide to hike up to the viewpoint. The path is steep, and I’m huffing and puffing. But when I finally get there, WHOA. The view is insane! You can see all of Isfiya, the mountains, the trees, everything. I’m standing there, just soaking it all in. It’s moments like this that make me love this place. But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy again. He’s finally here, and he’s lost. I’m like, “Dude, just follow the sound of my voice!” But he’s all confused. I’m rolling my eyes again. I head back down, and we finally meet up. He’s all sweaty and flustered, and I’m just laughing. We grab some dinner at this spot on Al-Mahajir. The food is bomb, and we’re just chilling, talking about the day. I’m telling him about the goat, the parade, and he’s cracking up. By the end of the night, I’m exhausted but happy. Isfiya, man. It’s wild, it’s beautiful, and it’s full of surprises. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Just another day in the life, right?
