Man, what a day! I woke up in Jisr-ez-Zarqa, and let me tell ya, it was a rollercoaster. First off, the sun was blazing. Like, seriously, who turned up the heat? I stepped outta my place on Al-Mahajir Street, and boom! Instant sweat. Ugh. So, I’m walking down the street, right? And I see this little café on the corner of Al-Nasr. You know the one? The one with the best falafel in town. I’m like, “I need that in my life.” I grab a sandwich, and it’s like a flavor explosion. I’m talking crispy, spicy, and just downright delicious. I was happy, like, “Yesss, this is life!” But then, outta nowhere, I hear this loud commotion. I look over, and there’s a bunch of kids playing soccer in the street. They’re yelling, laughing, and just having a blast. But then, bam! One of them kicks the ball, and it goes straight into a parked car. Oof! The owner comes out, and he’s fuming. I mean, I get it, but c’mon, it’s just a ball! I’m standing there, trying to enjoy my falafel, and this guy starts yelling. I’m like, “Dude, chill! It’s just a dent!” But he’s not having it. I’m thinking, “Man, this is Jisr-ez-Zarqa, not a car show!” After that drama, I decide to stroll down to the beach. The Mediterranean is calling my name, right? I hit up the beach on the outskirts, and wow, it’s packed! Families, kids, everyone’s soaking up the sun. I plop down on the sand, and it’s like heaven. But then, I see this guy trying to impress a girl. He’s showing off, doing backflips and stuff. And then—oh man—he totally wipes out! Faceplant right in the sand. I couldn’t help but laugh. Like, dude, you just went from hero to zero in 2 seconds flat. Then, I’m just chilling, and I spot this old fisherman on the pier. He’s got this weathered face, like he’s seen it all. I walk over, and we start chatting. He tells me stories about the sea, about how Jisr-ez-Zarqa used to be a fishing village. I’m all ears. It’s fascinating! But then, outta nowhere, a seagull swoops down and snatches his sandwich! I’m dying laughing. The guy just stares, like, “Really? My lunch?” I mean, come on, that’s just classic. As the sun starts to set, I’m feeling all kinds of emotions. Happy, sad, surprised. Jisr-ez-Zarqa is wild, man. It’s got this vibe. The streets, the people, the chaos. It’s like a beautiful mess. I head back home, and I can’t help but think about the day. From falafel to faceplants, it was a whirlwind. I love this place, even with all its quirks. Jisr-ez-Zarqa, you’ve got my heart. And that’s a wrap on my crazy day! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
