Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I’m a furrier, right? Yeah, I know, not your typical 9-to-5 gig. But lemme tell ya, Kfar-Saba is where it’s at for this kinda work. I woke up, and the sun was shining like it was trying to blind me. I mean, c’mon, it’s Kfar-Saba, not the Sahara! I grabbed my coffee from that little café on HaSharon Street. You know the one? The barista there is a legend. She knows my order by heart. I’m like, “Yo, just gimme the usual!” and she’s already pouring. Love that place. So, I’m heading to my shop on HaGolan Street, right? And I’m thinking, “Today’s gonna be chill.” But nah, life had other plans. I get to the shop, and there’s this huge delivery of pelts waiting for me. Like, what the heck? I didn’t order that many! I’m talking about enough fur to make a small army of fur coats. I’m sweating bullets, trying to figure out where to put all this stuff. I mean, my shop’s not exactly a warehouse. It’s cozy, you know? But now it’s a fur jungle. I’m tripping over pelts, and I’m like, “This is not how I pictured my day.” Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Yossi shows up. He’s always got some wild stories. He’s like, “Dude, you won’t believe what happened at the market!” I’m thinking, “Bro, I’m knee-deep in fur here!” But he’s persistent. Apparently, there was a goat that escaped from a nearby farm and caused chaos at the Kfar-Saba market. People were running, screaming, and this goat was just living its best life. I can’t even! So, I’m laughing, right? But then I get a call from a client. She’s freaking out because her coat has a tear. I’m like, “Lady, it’s a fur coat, not a life jacket!” But I calm down and tell her to bring it in. I mean, I gotta keep my customers happy, right? Fast forward, she shows up, and I’m trying to fix this coat while she’s hovering over me like a hawk. I’m sweating again. I’m like, “Chill, it’s just a little tear!” But she’s acting like I’m performing surgery. I finally fix it, and she’s all smiles. I’m like, “Great, now I can breathe!” After that, I needed a break. So, I hit up the park on HaSharon. You know, the one with the big fountain? I plopped down on a bench, just trying to catch my breath. And guess what? I see that goat from earlier! It’s just chilling, munching on some grass. I’m dying laughing. This goat is the real MVP of Kfar-Saba today. Then, I get a text from my sister. She’s like, “Hey, wanna grab dinner later?” I’m thinking, “Sure, but I’m covered in fur!” But whatever, family time is important. We hit up this little place on Ben Gurion Street. The food is bomb, and we’re just cracking jokes about my day. I’m telling her about the goat, and she’s in stitches. By the time I get home, I’m exhausted but happy. Kfar-Saba is wild, man. It’s got its quirks, but it’s home. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Just another day in the life of a furrier, right?
