Man, what a day! I woke up in Nahf, and let me tell ya, it was a rollercoaster. First off, I’m an estimator, right? So, I’m all about numbers and plans. But today? Nah, today was chaos. I hit the streets of Nahf, and it was like stepping into a movie. You know, the kind where everything goes wrong? I was cruising down Al-Mahatta Street, and boom! Traffic jam. Like, seriously? It’s Nahf, not New York! I’m sittin’ there, fuming, thinking about all the estimates I gotta finish. Then, outta nowhere, this kid on a bike zooms past me. I mean, he’s flying! I’m like, “Dude, slow down! You’re not in the Tour de France!” But he just laughs and keeps going. Kids these days, right? Finally, I get to my first site on Al-Jazeera Street. It’s a construction gig, and I’m pumped. I walk in, and the foreman’s like, “Hey, we changed the plans.” I’m like, “What?!” My brain’s doing backflips. I mean, how am I supposed to estimate if the plans keep changing? It’s like trying to hit a moving target blindfolded. So, I’m there, scribbling notes, trying to keep my cool. But then, I spill my coffee all over my papers. Ugh! I’m cursing like a sailor. “Great, just great!” I’m thinking. Now I gotta redo everything. After that disaster, I head over to Al-Muqayyar Street. I’m starving, right? I spot this little falafel joint. Best falafel in Nahf, no joke. I grab a wrap, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. I’m munching away, feeling good again. But then, I see this guy arguing with the owner. Like, come on, it’s just falafel! I’m thinking, “Dude, chill! It’s not the end of the world!” But nah, he’s all up in arms. I just wanna enjoy my food, man! So, I finish up and head to my next site on Al-Hawash Street. I’m feeling a bit better, but then I get a call. It’s my boss. “We need those estimates ASAP!” I’m like, “Dude, I’m working on it!” But he’s not having it. I can feel my blood pressure rising. I finally get to the last site, and it’s a mess. I mean, total chaos. Tools everywhere, workers running around like headless chickens. I’m just standing there, shaking my head. “What is this, a circus?” I mutter to myself. But then, something amazing happens. I see this little girl selling flowers on the corner of Al-Mahatta. She’s got the biggest smile, and she hands me a flower. “For you, mister!” she says. I can’t help but smile back. It’s like a little ray of sunshine in my crazy day. I wrap up my estimates, finally. I’m exhausted but relieved. I head home, thinking about all the madness. Nahf is wild, man. It’s got its ups and downs, but it’s home. So, yeah, that was my day. Full of surprises, chaos, and a little girl’s smile. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
