Man, what a day! I swear, being a bone cutter in Qiryat-Ata is like riding a rollercoaster with no seatbelt. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I hit the road on HaSharon Street. Traffic was a mess! Like, come on, people! It’s not a parking lot! I’m stuck behind this old dude in a beat-up car. He’s going 20 in a 50 zone. I’m losing my mind. I’m like, “C’mon, man! You got places to be!” But nah, he’s just vibing to some oldies. Finally, I get to the clinic on HaGolan Street. The waiting room is packed. I mean, packed! Like sardines in a can. I’m thinking, “Great, more waiting.” But then, I see this kid. He’s got a broken arm, and he’s just sitting there, all tough. I’m like, “Dude, you’re my hero.” He grins, and I’m like, “You’re gonna be fine, champ.” Then, my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy, Yossi. He’s like, “Yo, you won’t believe what happened!” I’m thinking, “Dude, I’m in the middle of a bone crisis here!” But I can’t help it. I’m curious. Turns out, he saw a cat stuck in a tree on HaRav Kook Street. Classic Yossi, right? He’s like, “I saved it!” I’m laughing so hard. Back to work. I’m in the OR, and it’s go time. I’m cutting through bone like it’s butter. I’m in the zone, you know? But then, the power goes out! Just my luck! I’m like, “Seriously? In Qiryat-Ata?” The backup generator kicks in, but it’s dim. I’m squinting, trying to see what I’m doing. After that chaos, I finally finish up. I step outside, and it’s like a whole new world. The sun’s setting over the Carmel Mountains, and it’s beautiful. I’m feeling all philosophical, like, “Life is good, man.” But then, I trip over a curb on HaYarden Street. Classic me, right? I’m laughing at myself. I decide to grab a bite at my favorite falafel joint on HaMaccabi Street. Best falafel in town, no contest. I’m munching away, and this guy next to me starts talking about the local soccer team. He’s all fired up, and I’m just nodding, trying not to choke on my food. Then, outta nowhere, this random dog runs in. It’s all scruffy and cute. I’m like, “Dude, you’re living your best life!” The owner comes in, all frantic, and I’m like, “Chill, man! Your dog’s just making friends.” By the time I head home, I’m exhausted but happy. Qiryat-Ata, you crazy little city, you never fail to surprise me. I’m thinking about all the wild stuff that happened today. I mean, who knew being a bone cutter could be so... eventful? So, yeah, that was my day. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just another day in Qiryat-Ata, I guess!
