Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a bailiff in Qiryat-Tiv-on is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blazin’ through my window on HaSharon Street. I’m like, “Great, another scorcher.” But hey, I’m ready to tackle whatever comes my way. First stop, the office on HaGolan. I’m sippin’ my coffee, tryin’ to wake up. Then boom! My phone buzzes. It’s my buddy Yossi. He’s like, “Dude, you won’t believe this!” Apparently, some guy on HaRoeh Street decided to dig a hole in his backyard. Not just any hole, but a massive one. Like, what’s he tryin’ to find? Treasure? A portal to Narnia? Who knows! So, I head over there, right? And let me tell ya, the scene is wild. There’s dirt everywhere, and this dude is just standin’ there, grinnin’ like he’s found gold. I’m like, “Bro, you know you can’t just dig wherever, right?” He shrugs, all nonchalant. I’m fuming inside. Like, come on, man! You can’t just go diggin’ up the whole neighborhood! Then, outta nowhere, this old lady from across the street starts yellin’. “You’re ruining my garden!” She’s waving her arms like a madwoman. I’m tryin’ to mediate, but it’s chaos. I’m stuck in the middle of a mini-war zone. I’m thinkin’, “This is not in my job description.” After that fiasco, I head to the market on HaYarden. I need a breather. Grab a falafel, right? Best in town, no doubt. I’m munchin’ away, and this kid runs past me, trippin’ over his own feet. He falls, and his ice cream goes flying. I can’t help but laugh. Poor kid, but man, that was hilarious! Then, I get a call about a dispute on HaMaccabim. Some folks are arguing over a parking spot. Seriously? In Qiryat-Tiv-on? I rush over, and it’s like a scene from a sitcom. Two guys, both red-faced, shoutin’ at each other. I step in, tryin’ to play peacemaker. “Guys, it’s just a parking spot!” But they’re not havin’ it. I’m thinkin’, “This is what my life has come to?” Finally, I wrap up my day. I’m exhausted, but I can’t help but smile. Qiryat-Tiv-on is a wild place. It’s got its quirks, for sure. The streets, the people, the unexpected drama. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. As I head home, I pass by the park on HaNesher. Kids are playin’, couples are strollin’. It’s a nice vibe. I think about how crazy today was. But that’s life, right? Just another day in Qiryat-Tiv-on. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
