Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Ra’anana, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up the local café on Ahuza Street. You know, the one with the best cappuccinos? Yeah, that one. I order my usual, and the barista, this dude named Yossi, spills half of it on the counter. I’m like, “Bro, what’s the deal?” He just laughs it off. I mean, come on! I need my caffeine fix! Then, I head to my first client. She’s a teenager, super moody, and today she’s even moodier. We’re talking about her anxiety, and suddenly she just bursts out crying. I’m like, “Whoa, girl, deep breaths!” But then, she starts talking about her crush on some guy from school. I’m trying to be all professional, but inside I’m like, “Aww, young love!” It’s cute, but also, like, can we focus on the anxiety? After that, I’m walking down Sokolov Street, and I see this street performer. He’s playing the guitar, and honestly, he’s pretty good. I stop to listen, and suddenly, a crowd forms. People are clapping, and I’m just vibing. But then, this guy in a suit walks by and yells, “Get a real job!” Like, dude, chill! It’s Ra’anana, not Wall Street! Next, I have a session with a couple. They’re fighting about who left the lights on. I’m sitting there, trying to mediate, and I’m thinking, “Really? This is what we’re doing?” I mean, it’s just lights! But then, they start laughing about it, and I’m like, “Okay, maybe this is good?” Love is weird, man. By the time I’m done, I’m starving. I hit up a falafel place on Herzl Street. Best falafel in town, no contest. I order a pita, and the guy behind the counter is super friendly. He’s like, “You want extra tahini?” I’m like, “Duh, always!” But then, I drop it. My pita, my precious falafel, right on the ground. I’m standing there, staring at it like it’s the end of the world. After that disaster, I decide to take a walk in the park. You know, the one near the mall? It’s usually peaceful, but today? Nah. There’s a bunch of kids running around, screaming, and I’m just trying to find my zen. I sit on a bench, and this old man next to me starts talking about the weather. I’m like, “Dude, I’m not here for a meteorology lesson.” But he’s so passionate about it, I can’t help but smile. Finally, I head home, exhausted. I plop down on my couch, and I’m like, “What a rollercoaster.” Ra’anana, you crazy! One minute I’m sipping coffee, the next I’m mediating fights and dropping falafel. But you know what? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. This city, with its quirks and surprises, keeps me on my toes. And honestly, I love it. Even the spilled coffee and dropped falafel. It’s all part of the ride, right?
