Man, today was a wild ride in Tuba-Zangariya! Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, ya know? But nah, the universe had other plans. So, I’m rollin’ outta bed, and the first thing I hear is my neighbor blasting some crazy techno at 7 AM. Like, dude, chill! It’s Tuba-Zangariya, not Ibiza! I mean, I love a good beat, but c’mon, not before my coffee. I stumble to the kitchen on Al-Mahd Street, half-asleep, and pour myself a cup. Then, I decide to hit up the local market on Al-Mashtal Street. It’s always buzzing with life. I’m talkin’ vendors shoutin’, kids runnin’ around, and the smell of fresh falafel in the air. I’m like, “Yes, please!” But as I’m walkin’, I trip over a stray cat. Seriously, Tuba-Zangariya, can we get some cat control? Anyway, I finally make it to the market. I grab some veggies and this amazing spice mix from my favorite stall. The guy there, Ahmed, is a legend. He always hooks me up with extra stuff. Today, he even threw in a free sample of his homemade hummus. I’m like, “Dude, you’re the best!” But then, outta nowhere, this guy bumps into me. I spill my coffee all over my new shirt. Ugh! I’m fuming! I turn around, and it’s this dude with a huge backpack. He’s like, “Sorry, man!” But I’m like, “You better be!” I mean, it’s Tuba-Zangariya, not a wrestling match! After that, I needed some air. So, I head over to the park on Al-Jazira Street. It’s my go-to spot for chillin’ and writing music. I plop down on a bench, and just as I’m about to pull out my guitar, I see this street performer. He’s playin’ the oud, and man, he’s killin’ it! I’m talkin’ serious talent. I can’t help but smile. I start jammin’ along with him, and we end up creating this spontaneous little tune. People gather around, and it feels like a mini concert. I’m on cloud nine! Tuba-Zangariya, you know how to lift my spirits! But then, just as I’m feelin’ all good, the sky decides to open up. Like, seriously? I’m drenched in seconds. I grab my guitar and run for cover under a tree. I’m sittin’ there, soaked, and I can’t help but laugh. Only in Tuba-Zangariya, right? Once the rain stops, I head back home, and I’m still buzzin’ from the jam session. I decide to take a different route, and I end up on Al-Mahd Street again. I see this little café that I’ve never noticed before. It’s got this cute vibe, so I pop in. I order a chai, and the barista is super chill. We start talkin’ about music, and it turns out he’s a drummer! We exchange numbers, and I’m like, “We gotta jam sometime!” Finally, I get home, and I’m exhausted but happy. I sit down with my guitar, and all these ideas flood in. I start writing about my day— the crazy market, the street performer, the rain. It’s all there. Tuba-Zangariya, you’re a rollercoaster, but I wouldn’t trade you for anything. You keep me on my toes, and you inspire me. Here’s to more wild days!
