Man, what a day! I swear, being a bone cutter in Abano-Terme is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I hit the streets of Abano-Terme. You know, those narrow, winding roads like Via Monteortone? Yeah, that one. I’m cruising, thinking about my coffee fix. I stop by this little café on Via Roma. Best cappuccino ever! I mean, it’s like they sprinkle magic in there. But then, bam! My phone buzzes. Emergency call from the clinic. Ugh, can’t a guy enjoy his coffee? So, I rush over to the clinic. I’m dodging tourists like I’m in some weird game of Frogger. Seriously, these folks don’t know how to walk! I’m like, “Excuse me, coming through!” Finally, I get to the clinic, and it’s chaos. I mean, people everywhere, like it’s a sale at the local market. Turns out, we got a last-minute surgery. Some dude decided to try parkour off a wall. Yeah, genius move, right? So, I’m in the OR, and let me tell ya, the pressure is on. I’m sweating like a sinner in church. But hey, I’m a pro. I get in there, and it’s all about focus. But then, outta nowhere, the power goes out! I’m like, “Are you kidding me?!” The backup generator kicks in, but it’s dim. I’m squinting, trying to see what I’m doing. I’m thinking, “This is not how I pictured my day.” After the surgery, I’m feeling all pumped. Saved a life, right? But then, I step outside, and it’s pouring rain. Like, seriously? I just got my scrubs clean! I’m soaked in seconds. I’m grumbling, walking down Viale delle Terme, and I see this cute little gelato shop. I can’t resist. I mean, who can? I grab a cone of pistachio, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, I trip on a cobblestone. Classic me! Gelato everywhere! I’m standing there, covered in green goo, and I just laugh. What else can you do, right? So, I’m walking back, feeling a bit better, and I pass by the Parco Urbano Termale. It’s beautiful, man. The fountains, the trees, the vibe. I sit for a sec, just soaking it all in. Life’s crazy, but moments like this make it worth it. Then, I get a call from my buddy Marco. He’s like, “Dude, you gotta come to the piazza tonight! There’s a festival!” I’m like, “I just got covered in gelato, but sure!” Fast forward, I’m at the piazza, and it’s lit! Music, food, people dancing. I grab a beer, and I’m just vibing. I see some old friends, and we’re laughing about the day. I tell them about the surgery, the rain, the gelato disaster. They’re cracking up, and I’m like, “Yeah, just another day in Abano-Terme!” As the night goes on, I’m feeling grateful. Sure, the day was wild, but it’s my life. Abano-Terme, with its hot springs and beautiful streets, is home. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, yeah, that was my day. A rollercoaster of emotions, but hey, that’s what makes it all worth it. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
