Man, what a day! Seriously, Acqui-Terme, you wild! I woke up thinking it’d be chill, ya know? Just me, my art, and some hot springs. But nah, the universe had other plans. First off, I hit up Via Roma. Love that street! It’s like the heartbeat of the city. Grabbed a coffee at this tiny café, Bar Caffè Centrale. Best cappuccino ever! I mean, I’m no coffee snob, but this was like liquid happiness. ☕️ But then, BAM! My phone buzzes. My art show is in two days, and I’m like, “Wait, what?!” I totally forgot. Panic mode activated! So, I rush back to my studio on Via Garibaldi. I’m sprinting, dodging tourists and their selfie sticks. Like, c’mon, people! I’m trying to save my art career here! 😂 I get to my place, and it’s a mess. Paint everywhere, canvases stacked like Jenga. I’m like, “Why do I do this to myself?” Then, I get this wild idea. I’m gonna create a piece inspired by the thermal baths. You know, the famous ones? The ones that make you feel like a human soup? So, I grab my brushes and start slapping paint on canvas. I’m in the zone, feeling it. But then, my neighbor starts blasting opera music. Like, dude, it’s 10 AM! I’m trying to channel my inner Van Gogh, not listen to Pavarotti! 🎶 I step outside for a breather. The sun’s shining, and I stroll down to the Parco delle Terme. It’s beautiful there! The trees, the fountains, the vibe. I sit on a bench, trying to chill. But then, I see this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m thinking, “Is this a rom-com or a horror movie?” 😂 Suddenly, I get this idea. What if I paint their drama? Capture that raw emotion! So, I whip out my sketchbook and start doodling. I’m totally eavesdropping, and it’s hilarious. They’re fighting over who left the cap off the toothpaste. I mean, really? That’s what you’re yelling about? After that, I head to the thermal baths. I need to soak my stress away. I’m in the water, and it’s like magic. I’m floating, feeling all my worries melt. But then, this kid splashes me. I’m like, “Dude, chill!” But I can’t help but laugh. Kids are wild. Feeling rejuvenated, I head back to my studio. I’m pumped! I start painting again, channeling all that energy. I’m mixing colors like a mad scientist. But then, I spill paint everywhere. Ugh! My floor looks like a rainbow exploded. I’m cursing and laughing at the same time. Finally, I finish my piece. It’s chaotic, colorful, and totally me. I step back, and it hits me. This is what Acqui-Terme is all about. The chaos, the beauty, the unexpected moments. I’m feeling all the feels. As the sun sets, I walk back to Via Roma. The streets are lit up, and it’s magical. I grab a gelato from Gelateria La Dolce Vita. Best decision ever! 🍦 I sit on the steps of the Duomo di Acqui Terme, enjoying my gelato and reflecting on the day. What a rollercoaster! I’m exhausted but happy. Acqui-Terme, you’ve got my heart. Can’t wait for the show! Let’s see what tomorrow brings.
