Man, what a day! I swear, Adelfia is a wild ride. I’m a car instructor, right? So, I’m used to the chaos, but today? Phew! Buckle up, folks, this is gonna be a bumpy one. So, I start my morning on Via Roma. Beautiful street, but the traffic? Ugh! It’s like everyone forgot how to drive. I’m sittin’ there, coffee in hand, and this dude in a tiny Fiat cuts me off. Like, bro, chill! It’s not a race. I almost spilled my cappuccino. Not cool, man. Finally, I get to the driving school on Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The place is buzzing. I got a new batch of students today. Some are eager, some are terrified. You can tell who’s gonna be a problem. There’s this one kid, Marco. He’s got this wild hair and a skateboard. I’m thinkin’, “Dude, you’re here to learn to drive, not to shred!” We hop in the car, and I’m tryin’ to keep it chill. But Marco? He’s all over the place. First, he slams the gas instead of the brake. We’re zooming down the street like we’re in a Fast & Furious movie. I’m like, “Whoa, slow down, Vin Diesel!” Then, we hit Via Garibaldi. It’s packed with people, and Marco’s still revving like a maniac. I’m yelling, “Dude, you’re gonna take out a gelato stand!” And just as I say that, we swerve, and I swear I see a kid drop his cone. Heartbreaking! After that, I’m a bit frazzled. I need a break. So, I take the next group to Piazza della Libertà. It’s a beautiful square, but today? It’s like a circus. Street performers everywhere. I’m talkin’ jugglers, musicians, you name it. I’m tryin’ to teach parallel parking, but all I can think is, “How do I compete with that guy on the unicycle?” Then, outta nowhere, this lady walks by with a giant balloon. I mean, it’s massive! And guess what? It pops! Right in front of us! Kids scream, I jump, and Marco? He’s laughing like a maniac. I’m like, “Dude, focus on the road!” Next, we head to Via Dante. It’s a narrow street, and I’m feelin’ the pressure. I’m thinkin’, “If we hit a car, I’m toast.” But Marco? He’s still in his own world. He’s like, “Can we go faster?” I’m like, “Faster? We’re not in a video game!” Finally, we get to the end of the lesson. I’m exhausted. I drop Marco off, and I’m thinkin’, “Thank goodness that’s over.” But then, I see my buddy Luca at the café on Via Mazzini. He’s waving me over. I need a drink. I grab a quick espresso, and we start chatting. He’s telling me about this new restaurant that just opened. Apparently, they have the best pasta in Adelfia. I’m like, “Dude, I’m in!” But then, I remember my diet. Ugh! Why is life so hard? As I’m leaving, I bump into an old student, Sofia. She’s all grown up now, driving like a pro. I’m so proud! She tells me she’s moving to Milan. I’m like, “No way! You can’t leave Adelfia!” But she’s gotta chase her dreams. I get it. By the time I get home, I’m wiped out. My head’s spinning with all the craziness. Adelfia, man. It’s a beautiful mess. I love it, but some days? It drives me nuts! So, that was my day. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just another day in Adelfia, I guess!
