Man, what a day in Albavilla! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up Via Roma for my morning coffee. You know, the usual spot. The barista, Marco, he’s a legend. But today? He spills my cappuccino all over the counter. I’m like, “Dude, what’s the deal?” He just laughs and says, “More foam for you!” Ugh, I was half-awake and now I’m covered in coffee. Great start, right? Then I decide to stroll down to the park, Parco della Valle. It’s a beautiful spot, man. Trees everywhere, kids playing, and the sound of laughter. But guess what? There’s a dog park there, and some dude’s dog runs straight at me. I’m talking full speed. I’m dodging like I’m in the Olympics! The owner’s yelling, “He’s friendly!” Yeah, well, I’m not a fan of slobbery furballs, buddy! After that chaos, I head over to Via Garibaldi. I’m thinking, “Let’s grab a slice of pizza.” I mean, who can resist, right? I walk into this little joint, and the smell hits me like a freight train. I order a margherita, and while I’m waiting, I overhear this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m just trying to enjoy my pizza, people! They’re going back and forth about who left the lights on. I’m like, “Dude, just turn them off next time!” Finally, I get my pizza, and it’s glorious. I take a bite, and it’s like heaven. But then, outta nowhere, my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy Luca. He’s like, “Meet me at the fountain!” So, I’m chowing down and trying to get there. I’m practically running down Via Vittorio Emanuele. When I get to the fountain, it’s packed. Kids are splashing, and I’m thinking, “This is gonna be a scene.” And it was! Luca’s there, but he’s not alone. He’s got this wild idea to jump into the fountain. I’m like, “Bro, are you serious?” But he does it anyway. Splash! Water everywhere. People are laughing, and I’m just standing there, shaking my head. Classic Luca. Then, outta nowhere, this old lady comes up to us. She’s got this fierce look, and I’m thinking, “Oh boy, here we go.” She starts lecturing us about respect and how we should behave. I’m trying not to laugh, but it’s hard. I mean, she’s right, but c’mon! We’re just having fun! After that, I needed a breather. So, I wander over to the old church, Chiesa di San Bartolomeo. It’s peaceful there. I sit on the steps, just taking it all in. The sun’s setting, and the sky’s all orange and pink. It’s one of those moments where you just feel grateful, you know? But then, I hear this loud honking. I look up, and it’s a guy on a scooter, yelling at someone. I can’t even. By the time I head home, I’m exhausted. My feet hurt, my head’s spinning, and I’m just thinking about how wild Albavilla can be. It’s a small town, but man, it’s got character. I love it, even with all the craziness. So, yeah, that was my day. Coffee spills, dog dodging, pizza drama, and fountain shenanigans. Just another day in Albavilla, I guess! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
