Man, what a day in Albizzate! Seriously, I’m still buzzing from it. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First stop, Via Roma. I’m guiding a group of tourists. They’re all excited, snapping pics of the cute little houses. I mean, who wouldn’t? Albizzate’s got that charm, ya know? But then, outta nowhere, this dude trips over his own feet. Like, c’mon man, it’s just a sidewalk! I’m trying to keep it together, but I’m cracking up. Then we hit up the Parco della Resistenza. Beautiful park, right? But guess what? It’s packed with kids. I mean, I love kids, but they’re running everywhere! One kid almost knocks over my coffee. I’m like, “Dude, chill! I need this caffeine!” After that, we stroll down Via Garibaldi. I’m telling my group about the history, how Albizzate was once a big deal in the textile industry. But half of them are more interested in their phones than my riveting history lesson. Ugh! I’m pouring my heart out here! Then, BAM! A street performer pops up. He’s juggling flaming torches. I’m like, “This is gonna end badly.” But nah, the guy’s a pro. Everyone’s cheering, and I’m just standing there, half impressed, half terrified. Next, we head to the Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista. Beautiful church, right? But it’s closed! I’m fuming. “Why is it always closed?” I mutter. My group’s looking at me like I’m crazy. I mean, c’mon, it’s a church! Open up already! So, we decide to grab some gelato. Best decision ever! I get pistachio, and it’s like heaven in a cone. But then, I drop it. Yup, right on the ground. I’m standing there, staring at my fallen gelato like it’s a tragedy. My group’s laughing, and I’m just like, “You guys are the worst!” After that, we wander down to the train station. I’m trying to explain how Albizzate’s a great spot for day trips. But then, the train’s late. Of course! I’m pacing, checking my watch, and my group’s just chilling. “Relax, it’s Italy!” they say. Easy for them to say! Finally, the train arrives. We hop on, and I’m just relieved. But then, I realize I left my backpack on the platform. I’m like, “No way!” I sprint off the train, grab it, and jump back on just in time. Heart racing, I’m thinking, “What a day!” As we roll out of Albizzate, I can’t help but smile. Sure, it was chaotic, but that’s what makes it fun, right? I mean, who needs a boring day? I’ll take the craziness any time. Albizzate, you’ve got my heart, even if you made me lose my gelato!
