Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I wake up in my tiny apartment on Via San Lorenzo, right? The sun’s blasting through the window like it’s trying to roast me alive. I’m like, “Chill, sun! I’m not ready for this.” First thing, I spill coffee all over my sketchbook. Great start, right? I’m already cursing like a sailor. I mean, who needs a clean sketchbook anyway? Not me, obviously. So, I grab my bag and head out. Walking down Corso Roma, I’m dodging people like it’s a game of Frogger. Seriously, Alessandria is packed today! I swear, I almost bumped into this old lady. She looked like she was ready to throw down. I’m like, “Lady, I’m just trying to get to work!” Then, I hit up my fave café, Caffè dei Portici. Best cappuccino in town, no contest. I order my usual, and the barista, Marco, gives me that look. You know the one. Like, “You again?” I’m like, “Yeah, Marco, I’m addicted. Deal with it.” So, I’m sipping my coffee, and boom! My phone buzzes. It’s my boss. “We need to talk about the campaign.” Oh great, just what I need. I’m thinking, “What now?” I mean, we just wrapped up the last one! I head over to the office on Via dei Martiri. The vibe is tense. Everyone’s whispering. I walk in, and my boss is like, “We’re changing the whole concept.” I’m like, “Are you kidding me?” My brain’s about to explode. I mean, we just spent weeks on this! But then, I get this wild idea. I pitch it. It’s bold, it’s crazy, it’s… well, it’s me. And guess what? They love it! I’m on cloud nine. I’m like, “Yes! Alessandria, you’re my muse!” After that, I need to blow off some steam. So, I stroll down to Piazza della Libertà. It’s buzzing with life. Street performers, kids running around, and the smell of fresh pastries wafting through the air. I grab a slice of torta di nocciole. Heaven! But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I’m talking torrential downpour. I’m soaked in seconds. I’m laughing, though. Like, “Really, Alessandria? You couldn’t wait five minutes?” I duck into a little shop on Via Cavour. It’s a vintage store, and I’m browsing through old records. I find this gem from the ‘70s. I’m like, “This is going home with me!” Finally, the rain stops. I step outside, and the streets are glistening. Alessandria looks magical. I’m feeling all the feels. I walk back home, and I can’t help but smile. But wait, there’s more! I get home, and my neighbor’s cat is on my porch. This fluffy little monster. I’m like, “Dude, you can’t just chill here.” But he’s not having it. He’s purring like a motorboat. I end up petting him for like 20 minutes. So, I crash on my couch, exhausted but happy. I think about the day. The chaos, the surprises, the little moments that make Alessandria special. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. And that’s a wrap on my wild day in Alessandria. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
