Man, what a day! Seriously, Alzano-Lombardo, you’ve got me all kinds of twisted. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m heading down Via Roma, and I swear, the coffee shop there has the best cappuccino. Like, I need that caffeine fix, ya know? But guess what? They ran out of milk! I mean, how do you run out of milk in Italy? It’s like running out of pasta! So, I’m standing there, fuming, thinking about how I could’ve made my own coffee at home. But nah, I needed that vibe, that Alzano vibe. Then, I decide to stroll down to Parco della Rocca. Beautiful park, right? But as I’m walking, I see this group of kids playing soccer. And they’re good! Like, way better than I ever was. I’m talking Messi-level skills. I’m just standing there, watching, and suddenly, one of them kicks the ball right at me! I’m like, “Dude, I’m not part of your game!” But I kick it back, and they cheer. I felt like a rockstar for a sec. But then, I get to the park, and it’s packed. Families, couples, everyone’s out enjoying the sun. I sit down on a bench, and this old guy next to me starts talking about the “good old days.” I’m like, “Bro, I’m just trying to chill.” But he’s going on about how Alzano used to be this quiet little town. I’m thinking, “Yeah, but now it’s a hotspot for gelato!” Speaking of gelato, I had to get some. I mean, it’s a must, right? So, I head over to Gelateria Alzano. I order a scoop of pistachio, my fave. But the guy behind the counter? Total grump. He’s like, “You want that in a cup or cone?” I’m like, “Dude, it’s gelato. Just give me the good stuff!” Finally, I get my cone, and it’s melting all over my hand. Classic. After that, I’m walking down Via Guglielmo Marconi, and I see this street performer. He’s playing the accordion, and it’s actually pretty good. I’m vibing, and then this lady starts dancing. Like, full-on twirling and everything. I’m cracking up because she’s got no shame. I love it! But then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. I mean, come on! I just got my gelato! So, I duck into a little shop on Via XX Settembre. It’s a cute little place, selling all kinds of local crafts. I’m browsing, and I find this weird ceramic cat. I’m like, “What even is this?” But I buy it anyway. It’s quirky, just like me. Finally, the rain stops, and I’m heading back home. I’m walking past the old church, Chiesa di San Bartolomeo, and it’s just stunning. I stop to take a pic, and this random guy walks by and says, “Nice shot!” I’m like, “Thanks, man! Just trying to capture the beauty of Alzano!” By the time I get home, I’m exhausted but happy. I mean, what a rollercoaster! Alzano-Lombardo, you’ve got your quirks, but I wouldn’t trade you for anything. You’re a wild ride, and I’m here for it!
