Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Ardea, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m an artisan, you know? I make stuff. Cool stuff. But today? Ugh. I head down Via del Mare, and it’s packed. Like, who knew Ardea had this many people? I’m dodging tourists left and right. I mean, c’mon, it’s not like we’re in Rome! So, I finally get to my workshop on Via della Libertà. I’m all pumped to work on this new piece. It’s gonna be epic. But then, BAM! My tools are missing. Like, seriously? Who steals from an artisan? I’m fuming. I mean, I could’ve sworn I left my chisels right there. I’m pacing, thinking about how I’m gonna make this piece without my tools. I’m ready to throw a fit. But then, I remember my buddy Marco. He’s got a shop down on Via dei Fiori. Maybe he can help. So, I rush over there, and guess what? He’s got my tools! Turns out, he borrowed them last week and forgot to return them. Classic Marco. I’m relieved but also kinda annoyed. After that little drama, I’m feeling a bit better. I grab a coffee at this cute little café on Piazza della Repubblica. The barista, this sweet old lady, she’s like, “You look stressed, dear.” I laugh and tell her about my missing tools. She just shakes her head and says, “You artisans are always in a tizzy!” I love her. So, I’m sipping my coffee, and suddenly, I see this street performer. He’s juggling flaming torches! Like, what? In Ardea? I’m amazed. I mean, I can barely juggle my life, and this dude’s juggling fire. I’m clapping, and the crowd’s loving it. It’s a nice moment, you know? But then, outta nowhere, a pigeon decides to take a dump right on my shoulder. I’m like, “Are you kidding me?” I look up, and the performer’s laughing. I can’t help but laugh too. It’s just one of those days, I guess. After that, I head back to my workshop, tools in hand. I’m ready to create! I start working on my piece, and it’s coming together beautifully. I’m in the zone, you know? But then, the power goes out. Just my luck! I’m sitting there in the dark, cursing the universe. Finally, the lights flicker back on, and I’m back at it. I’m so into it that I lose track of time. Before I know it, it’s dark outside. I step out onto Via del Mare again, and the city’s transformed. The lights are twinkling, and there’s this magical vibe in the air. I stroll down to the beach, and it’s packed with people. Families, couples, all enjoying the night. I sit on the sand, watching the waves crash. It’s peaceful. I think about my day, all the ups and downs. It’s wild how one day can be a rollercoaster, right? As I’m sitting there, I spot a group of kids playing soccer. They’re laughing, having a blast. I can’t help but smile. It’s moments like this that make all the craziness worth it. So, yeah, Ardea. It’s got its quirks, but it’s home. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Even with the pigeon poop and missing tools. Just another day in the life of an artisan, I guess.
