Wow, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. Ariccia, you wild little town, you’ve got my head spinning. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m hustling down Via del Teatro. I’m late, of course. Typical me. I’m dodging tourists like I’m in some kind of obstacle course. They’re all snapping pics of the beautiful Palazzo Chigi. I mean, it’s gorgeous, but c’mon, people! Move it! I’m on a mission here! So, I finally get to the office, and my boss is already on my case. “Where’s the report?” she barks. Ugh, I left it on my desk. Classic. I sprint back, and guess what? My coffee’s gone! Some jerk swiped it! I’m fuming. Like, who does that? I need my caffeine fix, people! After that little fiasco, I’m back at my desk, trying to focus. But then, boom! Fire drill. Seriously? In the middle of my workday? I grab my stuff and head out. We’re all standing outside, and I’m just thinking, “This better be a drill.” Turns out, it was. Phew! But still, I’m annoyed. Once we’re back in, I decide to take a break. I stroll down to Piazza di Corte. It’s so pretty there, with the fountain and all. I grab a slice of pizza from this little joint, Pizzeria Da Franco. Best pizza ever! I’m talking gooey cheese, crispy crust. I’m in heaven. But then, I spill some on my shirt. Great. Just great. Now I look like a mess. After lunch, I’m feeling a bit better. I head over to Via della Repubblica. I love that street! It’s got all these cute shops. I pop into a little boutique and find this amazing scarf. I’m like, “I need this!” But then I check the price. Yikes! Not today, wallet. Then, outta nowhere, I bump into an old friend. Marco! We used to hang out all the time. He’s like, “Hey! Long time no see!” We chat for a bit, and it’s all good vibes. He tells me about this new café on Via dei Cappuccini. I’m intrigued. But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my boss again. “Need those files ASAP!” Ugh, can’t a girl catch a break? I say bye to Marco and rush back. On my way, I pass by the beautiful Parco Chigi. It’s so peaceful there. I stop for a sec, take a deep breath, and think, “Why can’t every day be like this?” But nope, back to reality. Finally, I get the files sorted. I’m feeling accomplished, but then I realize it’s almost time to go home. I’m exhausted! I grab my stuff and head out. As I’m walking back, I can’t help but laugh at the day. It was a rollercoaster! Ariccia, you’ve got my heart racing. I love your charm, your chaos, and your pizza. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
