Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a bouncer in Aviano is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. One minute you’re chillin’, the next you’re dodging drama like it’s a game of dodgeball. So, I roll into work at this club on Via Roma, right? It’s a Friday night, and the vibe is electric. I’m pumped, ready to keep the peace. But then, bam! A group of rowdy tourists stumbles in. They’re loud, obnoxious, and one dude’s wearing a Hawaiian shirt. In Aviano! C’mon, man! I’m just standin’ there, tryin’ to keep my cool. But then, this guy trips over his own feet and spills his drink all over some poor girl. She’s wearing this cute dress from the market on Piazza della Repubblica. I mean, it was a nice dress! And now it’s soaked. I’m like, “Dude, what’s wrong with you?” He just laughs it off. I’m fuming. Like, how hard is it to walk? I’m about to kick him out, but then I see the girl. She’s got this smile, like she’s not even mad. She just wipes it off and says, “It’s just a dress.” I’m thinkin’, “Wow, she’s got some serious chill.” Then, outta nowhere, this guy starts singing “Volare” at the top of his lungs. I mean, c’mon! It’s Aviano, not a karaoke bar! But the crowd loves it. They’re clapping, singing along. I can’t help but laugh. It’s ridiculous, but it’s also kinda heartwarming. Later, I’m on Via Garibaldi, taking a breather. The night air is cool, and I’m just thinkin’ about life. Aviano’s got this charm, ya know? The cobblestone streets, the old buildings. It’s like a postcard. But then, I hear shouting. I rush back to the club. Some dude’s tryin’ to pick a fight. I’m like, “Not on my watch!” I step in, and it’s like a scene from a movie. I’m all, “Hey, buddy, let’s chill.” But he’s not havin’ it. He’s all puffed up, like a rooster. I grab him by the arm, and he’s like, “You can’t touch me!” I’m thinkin’, “Oh really? Watch me.” I’m not here to play games. I get him outside, and he’s still yelling. I’m just standing there, arms crossed, like a statue. Finally, he storms off down Via della Vittoria. I’m like, “Good riddance!” But then, I see a couple of locals laughing. They’re like, “You handled that like a pro!” I’m blushing, but I play it cool. “Yeah, just another day in Aviano,” I say. As the night winds down, I’m feeling good. I grab a slice of pizza from this little joint on Via Mazzini. Best pizza ever! I’m talking gooey cheese, crispy crust. It’s like a hug in food form. I sit on a bench, watching the world go by. The lights of Aviano twinkle, and I’m just soaking it all in. I think about how crazy the night was. The fights, the laughter, the unexpected moments. And you know what? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Aviano’s my home, and every night is an adventure. I’m just a bouncer, but man, I’m livin’ the dream.
