Man, what a day! I’m a shepherd, right? But today, I felt more like a lost sheep in Bareggio. Seriously, Bareggio! It’s this little gem near Milan, but today? Ugh, it was a rollercoaster. So, I wake up early, like, way too early. The sun’s barely up, and I’m already thinking about my flock. I grab my stick, my trusty old hat, and head out. But first, I gotta grab a coffee. You know, the good stuff. I swing by this tiny café on Via Roma. The barista, Marco, he’s a legend. He knows my order by heart. “Cappuccino, no sugar, right?” he says. I nod, half-asleep. I take my coffee and head to the fields. But wait! I forgot to mention, Bareggio’s got this vibe. It’s chill, but today? It was buzzing. I’m walking down Via Garibaldi, and I see this huge market set up. Fresh veggies, fruits, and oh man, the cheese! I’m drooling just thinking about it. But I can’t get distracted. My sheep are waiting! So, I finally get to the fields, and guess what? One of my sheep, Baa-bara (yeah, I named her), is missing! Like, how does a sheep just up and leave? I’m freaking out. I start calling her name, “Baa-bara! Baa-bara!” People must think I’m nuts. I’m running around like a headless chicken. Then, I remember. The park! There’s this little park near the church, Parrocchia San Bartolomeo. I sprint over there, and there she is! Chilling with some kids, eating their snacks. I’m like, “Baa-bara! You can’t just hang out here!” The kids are laughing, and I’m trying to be serious, but it’s hard when your sheep is a celebrity. After rescuing Baa-bara, I’m feeling a bit better. But then, I trip over a rock. Classic me, right? I fall flat on my face. I’m lying there, and this old lady walks by. She looks down at me and says, “You okay, young man?” I’m like, “Yeah, just practicing my sheep yoga.” She chuckles, and I’m back on my feet, a bit embarrassed but laughing too. Now, I’m finally back with my flock. But wait, there’s more! I hear this loud noise. It’s a parade! In Bareggio? I didn’t even know they had parades! I’m thinking, “What’s next? A sheep beauty contest?” But I can’t resist. I tie up my sheep and head over to the main square, Piazza della Libertà. The streets are packed! People are dancing, music blasting. I see a guy juggling, and I’m like, “Dude, I can barely juggle my life!” But it’s all good vibes. I grab a slice of pizza from a stand. Best pizza ever! I mean, it’s Bareggio, how can it not be good? As the sun sets, I’m feeling grateful. Sure, it was a crazy day. But Bareggio, man, it’s got this charm. The streets, the people, the food. I’m just a shepherd, but today, I felt like part of something bigger. So, I head home, Baa-bara in tow, and I can’t help but smile. Tomorrow’s another day, and who knows what Bareggio has in store for me? Maybe I’ll find a sheep that can dance. Or maybe I’ll just trip over another rock. Either way, I’m ready for it!
