Man, what a day! I swear, Barletta really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m cruising down Via Cavour, thinking about my first appointment. This dude, Marco, he’s got a million questions about life insurance. Like, bro, it’s not rocket science! But he’s all, “What if I get hit by a bus?” I’m like, “Dude, just don’t stand in the street!” But whatever, I’m trying to be professional, ya know? Then, I head over to the Castello Svevo. Man, that place is a beauty! But I’m not there for the views. I’m there to meet a client. And guess what? She’s late. Like, seriously late. I’m standing there, sweating like a sinner in church, and all I can think is, “Did she get lost in the castle?” Finally, she shows up, and she’s all flustered. Turns out, she got caught in a street performance on Via Venezia. I mean, who can blame her? Those street performers are wild! But c’mon, lady, I got a schedule! After that, I’m feeling a bit hangry, so I hit up this little café on Corso Garibaldi. Best espresso ever! I’m talking liquid gold, people. I down it like it’s water. But then, I spill some on my shirt. Great. Just great. Now I look like I’ve been in a coffee fight. Next, I’m off to meet this guy, Antonio, at the beach. He’s got a boat, and he wants to insure it. I’m thinking, “Sweet, a little sea breeze.” But no! The wind’s howling like a banshee. I’m trying to explain the policy, and the wind’s just laughing at me. I’m shouting, “You need coverage for theft!” and he’s like, “What?!” Then, outta nowhere, a seagull swoops down and snatches my sandwich! I’m standing there, mouth agape, like, “Did that just happen?” I mean, come on! I can’t even eat in peace! By the time I get back to the office, I’m a hot mess. I’m thinking, “Why do I even do this?” But then, I get a call from a client who just got a new car. He’s so pumped, and it kinda lifts my spirits. I mean, who doesn’t love a new ride? But then, I get a text from my buddy. He’s at the bar on Via Roma, and he’s like, “Dude, you gotta come!” So, I’m like, “Why not?” I need a drink after this day. I get there, and it’s packed! Everyone’s laughing, and I’m just trying to blend in. But then, I trip over my own feet and spill my drink. Classic me, right? But instead of being embarrassed, I just laugh it off. As the night goes on, I’m chatting with people, and it hits me. Barletta is wild! The streets, the people, the energy! It’s chaotic, but it’s home. I’m feeling all the feels. So, yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Barletta, you crazy, but I love ya!
